Terrible! Slow service. Gluten free offerings very limited. Pasta came out hard way under cooked. Steak tips like shoe leather so bad I sent it back! All 3 of us with celiac disease were disappointed and hated our food. Do not recommend bad gluten free food.
I was assured my management prior to my experience that I would be safe, and the food was cooked in a dedicated area. I was 5-6 bites in until I realized it was REGULAR pasta and FRIED chicken. The waitress offered to call an ambulance after realizing I told her I had an allergy... I was atleast given a refund for my meal.
We use the curbside. They've been great @ keeping my food separate from my family's food. Very good too. Could put more sauce on it, a little skimpy, nothing that can't be taken care of by requesting more. Thank you
They’d should not be in this app, it’s not recommended for celiacs.. or they’d should improve their service with so many celiacs adults and children.. this desease is not a joke and specially if you are taking your kids.. not recomendable! I give a Star, but if it was on me I would not give not even a star.
Not a ton of options, but they do have GF pasta and are always happy to accommodate to my dietary needs!! Their GF rotini is their only rotini shaped pasta so you don’t have to worry about them accidentally giving you the regular.
Before being gluten free this was one my favorites Although they say they have a gluten-free food and menu it’s extremely limited. It is clear that their staff is not well trained catcher and so I did not feel safe
I’ve eaten there three times. I ordered the gluten free pasta each time and given specific instructions about my allergy to gluten. The wait staff is clueless about the seriousness of celiac disease. All three times I’ve gotten sick my contamination and lack of care on the part of Olive Garden wait staff and the kitchen staff. The manager gave us gift cards to return and was very apologetic but I’m not interested in returning.
Server was awesome and I have always had great experience. I'm giving it 1 star, bc I haven't been there since I found out I have celiac (8mo ago) and just went today...my stomach has been hurting all night. I ordered gluten free pasta with meat sauce, salad wo croutons. Not sure where the gluten was (maybe the salad dressing) or if I'm very sensitive to gluten and flour accidentally went into my food. Not sure, but won't be going back. Service was great and she brought out a salad for the table w croutons in a separate bowl for everyone else.
I had the gluten free pasta in a shrimp scampi dish. We ordered take out and you can't choose gluten free pasta online with any dish; however if you call the store to order they will put the gluten free pasta with any dish. The only disappointment is there are no gluten free breadsticks and service can be slow at busy times.
The staff was very knowledgeable our server brought out a gluten free menu with all of the options. The chicken parmashon was very good but a ton of food! The salad that they always bring out was good but you have to ask for no croutons. So all In all it was very good.
Several good GF options on mains. Plus salad minus croutons. Also cider. No gf desserts.
I was surprised they only had one pasta 🍝 item.. rotini.. don’t get the meat sauce.. I did add chicken. They did let me special order the salad. But the menu did say not true gluten free cause it’s cooked in the kitchen and the 1st time they brought my food out it was the wrong pasta!
Had some serious contamination issues here. First salad that was brought out had croutons, even though I had explained my allergy to the server and requested no croutons. He laughed. Had pasta and there was definitely contamination. I am guessing that it was cooked in the same water as their regular pasta. Haven't been this sick in some time. I will not return.
Typical Olive Garden gluten free menu. I’ve had great service here a few times but the last time the waiter brought out regular pasta instead of the gluten free pasta. I luckily caught it but was shocked this mistake was made after he noted my restriction and ensured me what I picked would be safe
The staff is very knowledgeable and cook the rotini pasta separately. While this isn’t my favorite restaurant, if you need to eat here for work, etc, as a celiac, you can have a safe meal. They clearly label everything and have a great salad option w a different dressing / no croutons. When this was picked for a work lunch, I was worried I’d be able to eat nothing but was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Olive Garden
Limited choices, average food, server completely oblivious. Placed an order, was assured it was gluten free. Just as I was about to take the first bite the manager came over and grabbed my plate. Turned out server was wrong and the kitchen prepared and sent it out even though it was ordered as a gluten free meal knowing it was not. I would have been in the hospital had it not been caught. Very negligent on both the server and the kitchen.
Last time I ate there was a year ago I think, I ordered gluten free pasta that took forever to come out, it wasn’t really that good. The only dressing I could get on my salad was olive oil or balsamic, due to the fact that I have a dairy allergy too.
My 17 yr old called ahead to confirm GF options as a large group of friends planned to eat here prior to the Homecoming dance tonight. He is now missing Homecoming and VERY VERY sick. Do not eat here if you have celiac!
I had the Herb Grill Salmon with steamed broccoli and a plain salad off of the gluten sensitive menu. I told the server that it was a severe gluten "allergy" and he assured us that precautions were taken in the kitchen. The food arrived hot and tasted fine. A few hours later I was in the emergency room, badly glutened and very ill. If you have Celiac disease this location (Huntsville, TX) is probably not a good choice. I have eaten the same meal at another Olive Garden and did not become sick. So beware.
The staff was great, but my daughter’s gluten-free rotini was cross contaminated by at least one shell pasta. I suspect there was more than one or it was not cooked separately, because she was quite affected. I’m not sure she will feel safe there again.
Our server brings us individual packets of salad dressing since the dressing may be contaminated with crouton crumbs. Several gf options. They ‘should’ use dedicated gluten free pots for pasta, but one can only hope. Always a risk to eat out with celiac.
Asked questions about what meals were gluten free. No one could tell me what I could order and what had gluten in it. Asked to speak with manager. I asked if he knew what ingredients contain gluten. He did not know! Sad, won't be back!
I got sick after eating at this location of Olive Garden. The chain has a gluten-free menu and our server was reassuring about how careful the kitchen is with food allergies, but I got glutened here and would not recommend for celiacs.
Found a piece of gluten pasta among my gluten free pasta. NOT SAFE! Would never go here again. When talking to someone there about what had happened there seemed to be little concern and lack of understanding regarding the severity of being celiac and eating gluten.
