I didn't have high expectations for Olive Garden. We came for dinner by choice of the birthday niece and ordered the GF rotini as it was the only GF pasta available on their menu. We were ensured by the waiter that they would notate "gluten allergy" and it would be made in a separate pot to avoid cross contamination, cooks would use clean utensils, gloves etc. The order came out and there were several spaghetti noodles amongst the pasta dish. I normally pack my daughter separate food as she has celiac. When eating away from home their is always a risk. As a result, she ate the home-brought pasta and I took her dish instead.
