I was hesitant to try Olive Garden because there hadn’t been any reviews on the app for over two years. My daughter really wanted it (and to be honest, I did too since I hadn’t eaten at Olive Garden since going gluten free in mid-2023). Everything was delicious and I had no reaction! Their menu is labeled with the GF items but I think they had a separate GF menu but they didn’t offer it and I had already seen it online and knew what I was getting. I had the Zuppa Toscana soup and then for my entree, I had rotini pasta (GF) with meat sauce (also GF). No bread or dessert, except the mint (GF) but I’m happy to have another place to eat! I would definitely go back!
Failed on Nimo Gluten free tester. Child was too eager and was eating subsequently stomach did get upset. Tested for trace amounts might be ok for none celiacs.
I had soup and salad and no reaction. My waiter was fairly knowledgeable about cc. He did try to tell me that a shared fyer was okay because it got up to 375 degrees. He's convinced glutes can be destroyed by heat. lol

If you are gluten allergic, but not celiac, this is a viable option. The staff was knowledgeable. They have a dedicated pasta cooker for their corn-based pasta options. I would have given them 5 stars if there had been dessert options.

I am celiac. I told waiter I was allergic to gluten and sensitive to cross-contact. I had salmon and broccoli. The manager brought out my dish. The server brought the remaining dishes for my companions who had no food allergies.
I didn’t have the greatest experience at Olive Garden. A manager came out and told me he would make sure my food was safely made and far away from any gluten. When my meal came out, gluten free noodles were mixed in with my meal. The manager apologized and gave us our meal for free but I was unimpressed with the fact that he promised there would be no cross contamination and there indeed was.
On top of that there are very limited gluten free options and none of them tasted very good or fresh.
After I told the hostess that I had celiac disease they gave our group a server that was experienced with celiac disease. She assured me that the kitchen staff was aware and told me that they wanted my experience there to be good and that I am satisfied with everything. I was very impressed and the food was great!! I highly recommend Olive Garden
They boil gluten free pasta with gluten containing pasta.
I called them to ask if they cook the GF noodles in the same water, lady on the phone said “we don’t not cook them in the same water to avoid cross contamination” we ordered it even said on the packaged food to use clean gloves and utensils then my mother found a Linguine noodle in her gluten free pasta
