Extremely limited gluten free menu and if you are avoiding dairy as well there is not much other than salad. We apologized and got up and left letting them know there was nothing we could eat on their very limited menu

I should have read the reviews before going here. There were about 5 choices of items to eat on the GF menu. I got really sick afterwards. I'm thinking I might have been cross-contaminated. I told the waiter that I have a gluten allergy and he just brushed it off and said that he would say that on the order. I wasn't impressed with the taste of the food either; the noodles were overcooked. I probably won't go here again.

Only have very limited gf menu. Not impressed. If you want a better Italian Gluten Free restaurant in Idaho Falls, go to Carinos. They have nice gluten free menu and dessert choices. Puts Olive Garden to shame.

not a wide range of gf choices. gf pasta horrible sent back twice without success. it wad hard and flavorless. I would not recommend olive garden to anyone that is gf.

The GF menu includes only penne pasta which is fine as I just wanted to carb-load before a race the next day. My meal was so over cooked I couldn't chew the chicken, sauce was dried out and noodles were mush. My husband said his non-GF meal was pretty bad too. The next day I hit the blue rooms twice during my race and my husband couldn't leave the hotel room to meet me at the finish line. The couple we traveled with had a similar experience.

Took my wife and son there for dinner last night. They said the GF pasta was great. Our server was knowledgeable and great to work with. I highly recommend it.

The only has no I can find on the gluten free menu is noodle and tomato sauce. They don’t take any $ off for noodles and tomato sauce. That is just robbery and it tastes like the worst 5ing ever next time, If I’m forced to go here, I’m bringing my own food.

I was a bit worried about cross contamination. I spoke to the manager Kylie who took care of everything herself! She made sure that everything was handled carefully, opened new containers of sauce and salad. Great service and I felt confident they were knowledgeable and cautious.

Their gluten free options consist of salad or pasta with marinara/meat sauce. Some gluten free pals & I ordered this for lunch one day, and luckily I had my Nima sensor; it tested positive for gluten. While originally the pasta/sauce may ingredient-wise be gluten free, it is not made in an environment where people are knowledgeable enough about cross-contamination for it to be considered a safe option.

I was very afraid that I would get sick from this place, but surprisingly I did not! I had the rotini with meat sauce. I talked with the waitress and she assured me that the food would be cooked separately. She also told me the chefs would use a new pair of gloves.

Chef and server not knowledgable, referred us to menu. Family was Fine with their GF dishes, but I had dairy allergy issues afterwards despite being clear.

Had Zuppa toscana soup and salmon with broccoli and it was super yum. No reaction.

Server was knowledgable and proactive about foods containing (possibly) gluten. Not the biggest selection so far, but it tastes great!

As a chain their menu has gluten-free items but make sure you tell the waiter 10 times. My daughter ordered correctly, she ate it. When she got the bill she found out he didn’t put the order in for gluten-free. She ate a plate of regular pasta by their mistake. I know their pasta is gluten-free, but I would actually get a manager to verify when I was placing the order if I were to eat there again. The staff is not well-versed in gluten-free. The food is from the franchise, so you can get gluten-free pasta there, I just would bring management and when I’m ordering to avoid this error from happening again. I’ve eaten at other locations successfully, It’s not a kitchen or a food issue, just don’t trust the waiters unless you bring in management

Went there for Fathers Day, they have separate gluten free menu, waiters are great ! They had buy one and take one home special for 12.00. I had a coupon for feee appetizer they let me use that too. We forgot to scan it on their self pay thing and they gave us a gift card to come back and get it next time. So nice ! If you go online and get in line before you go when you get there and there are people waiting they take you to your seat right away ! Great experience !

Do not eat the gluten free pasta. Half way through my meal I found regular pasta in my dish. Was very sick. I was also never given a gluten free menu. Was told to get pasta or fish thats it.

I have Celiac and ordered a gluten-free pasta option at Olive Garden and I had an adverse reaction, which I believe was due to cross-contamination. I am giving the restaurant one star because zero stars is not allowed.

I went in not knowing is there was anything gluten free they only have a gluten free soup and gluten free rotini. Which is small but I didn’t care. The menu tells you that not everything on the menu can be truly gluten free. So because of feeling unsafe in a big chain I ordered rotini with butter. It came out over cooked with too much butter. But my boyfriend said the gf soup was good.

Ordered the gluten free pasta and made sure staff knew of gluten free request. server indicated they had a relative with Celiac so they understood. Received dish and after eating about 1/3 of the dish, found multiple pieces of Gluten pasta in the dish. Stopped eating of course, just asked for a refund. Manager did not come to talk to us, server just brought the check.

Not celiac friendly at all. I don’t even understand why they have a “gluten sensitive” menu when none of the staff has a clue about it. Both times I’ve ordered gluten free pasta, there have been regular noodles in it. Unsafe & the menu options are limited and not very good anyway, other than the salad no croutons.

Celiac friendly but very few options. Most involve red sauce and greasy foods. I have a sensitive stomach in general so I felt that though items were gluten free they would make me sick with dairy, reflux, etc. I don’t eat there often.

I originally gave them a good review, but my last experience a few months back changed that. When my GF rotini was brought out, there were other few pieces of regular pasta mixed in. When the manager came out, I questioned how it could happen with what their info says about cooking it in separate kettle. He admitted that it just comes in a bag and they microwave it. If that's what I'm going to eat, and still get cross-contaminated, I will just buy and Udi's frozen meal from the grocery and eliminate the risk. It was pretty disappointing.

I refuse to eat at Olive Garden, as I have been glutened every time. I think it’s hard to avoid contamination, as almost the whole menu is pasta.

Big fail at this Olive Garden. We informed our waiter of cross contamination concerns and he relayed to kitchen, but then we found pieces of gluten shells pasta mixed up in our gluten free rotini. They are not charging us for it, but the damage has already been done.

They have a dedicated Gluten Free. The gluten free pasta was delicious with meat sauce. Salad without croutons was great. Waitress even let me try the gluten free pasta. Highly recommend.

GF pasta very inconsistent, the first time I got it it was cooked correctly but the second was way over cooked and mushy. So it’s a toss up.

O'live Garden may be the most popular Irish chain restaurant since Bennigan's. But it should not be popular amongst the Celiac Diseased. On many occasions I have found a non-gluten free noodle in my pot of Irish pasta with what I believe to be an Oscar Meyer hot dog with ketchup.

Last time I ate at Olive Garden all I could eat was a steak ( pretty good as I remember) and broccoli. Not even potatoes of any sort. Steak and broccoli are easy to make at home. No thanks.

The staff was nice, however their gluten free menu lists that the Alfredo is gluten free but their online menu says otherwise.

Tried eating gluten free a couple times. Ordered pasta one of those times and got a dish of dry noodles with a little pile of red sauce in the center. Had to have been under a heat lamp for a little while, noodles were hard on top. Other time I ended up ill.

I tried to order on line. Horrible experience. The site refused to put any item in my shopping bag. So I called....gave them my full name. When I arrived to pay, I gave them my full name. Unfortunately five girls all standing at the entry desk just said "what, who, what". It was worse than the web site. Oh but wait, it gets better. "We do not have an order under that name". I walked out, called back and was told it was my fault that I didn't tell them my first name. I went back and paid for my order got in the car to finish my list for the day. NO UTENSILES! The food was excellent, once I could get to a fork. Have not gotten sick. AFTER THE CONSUMPTION OF THE FOOD. Before was horrible! Pray for the staff and management, they need it.

They do not train there staff at all. They add breadsticks to your takeout when it says gluten allergy all over it. When you dine in and tell them you have a gluten allergy they allow you to order and serve you food that is not gluten free and then blame the kitchen for the mistake after you’ve already eaten it. The Managers show no accountability and try to blame the customer and when you insist on seeing the info the kitchen had for the order and show them it says gluten allergy they just ‘oh sorry’. Based on my experiences I would not recommend them.

They offer gf items on the menu, but it's cooked in the same place as the non gf items. There are no safe food handling practices. The noodles are boiled in regular noodle water and good luck getting a salad that didn't have the croutons picked out. Even just sausage links in sauce isn't safe. I've tried it a couple times and gotten wicked sick each time. I've had to go for work events and I won't eat anything there any more, too much contamination because the employees don't care or understand celiac.

The problem isn't the gf menu although it's lacking as well... This OG has the worst service. Every. Single. Time. We kept trying several times just because it's hard to be gluten free with kiddos. Pasta is always hard as a rock, service is about as fast 🙄. Skip it.

Stay away if you are Celiac or gluten sensitive. Neither kitchen nor staff are competent to safely serve Gluten Free. They take a long time to serve GF and frequently do not get it right. Who knows about cross contamination where you cannot observe their process. 1 sick, shame on them. 2 sick, shame on me if I would go back again.

Limited menu. I ordered a steak with veggie and a side of gf pasta and Alfredo. My plate came with breaded zucchini. I said I cannot have breading that’s why I ordered from the tiny gf menu and now that I look at it I don’t trust the cook who thought breading was okay so I’m not sure these noodles are gf either, I wasn’t given any other option they just took away the sides and I are a steak and salad. The sides weren’t even removed from my bill. They said aides are free with the entree. Not even a discount. Also asked if I wanted breadsticks right after asking for a gf menu. Stay away.

Been here plenty of times and never had issues! I always have the waiter tell the chef it’s an allergy and not a preference. They even bring salad with no croutons (or will put them on the side for whoever I’m with)!

Be sure to ask that your GF pasta be cooked in separate, fresh boiling water. If not, they cook it in the SAME WATER AS GLUTEN PASTA!!! Seriously, what's the point in a celiac ordering GF pasta if they're going to cover it in gluten water!!!???

Not very many options. One soup, one pasta with one sauce, and the salad without croutons is all they have to offer. Always loved the olive garden before being GF, and was happy with the GF choices even though there's not very many.

Last two visits, I've found a few of the wrong noodles in my bowl. The last visit, I talked with the manager and she had it remade and supervised it herself and it still had non-gf noodles in it. Not recommend at all.

The experience here was horrible! We ordered the gluten-free chicken Parmesan, they brought us fried chicken with gluten-free noodles first big mistake. We re-ordered the food only to receive gluten-free noodles that were mixed with regular noodles so obviously they use the same pot and utensils and boiling water. We then called the manager to the table I told her how dangerous their practices were and they shouldn’t have a gluten-free menu if they’re not gonna take it seriously. She gave me my meal for free which wasn’t when I was trying to accomplish. I was with a group of 25 people and all of them saw the waiter roll her eyes at me when I brought this to her attention. This is my third terrible experience with Olive Garden and I won’t be returning ever again.
