Our server was incredibly sweet but had never served anyone with celiac before, so I asked for a manager just to be sure about prep. The manager, Tyler came over and was incredibly knowledgeable about celiac and how everything was prepared in his kitchen and recommended the safest items for me after I told him I did indeed have celiac. Our server after that was very interested in learning a bit about what gluten was as I was her first celiac customer. they were so wonderful!! And the food was delicious!! I was thrilled to find out my old favorite soup was gluten free the zuppa Toscana and then I ordered the parmesan pesto pasta as the manager stated the pastas like that one went through their sautee in completely clean and separate dishes that don't come in contact with anything. the menu the offer is a gluten sensitive menu so I felt better asking because I wanted to check if they shared a grill ( they do share a flat top) so he recommended the other items to me so I chose the best for me:) there are only a few options for celiac suffers other options are more gluten sensitive items. but the food and staff were amazing!

Celiac

We had Courtney as our waitress and she was great! She brought me a separate salad without croutons. I had the gf rotini and marinara sauce. She was familiar with cross contamination and told the kitchen about the allergy when ordering my meal. This is the second time I’ve eaten here in the past 6 months and I have not had issues.

Well, there’s a reason the reviews aren’t great and aren’t recent. My experience here tonight was pretty bad. We went for a birthday, so not my ideal choice of place as a celiac, but I was feeling optimistic with some tentative options (I should’ve just eaten at home and forgotten about trying to eat with friends) I was SO CLEAR with the waiter, I said my usual lines that “I’m celiac, that means I have a severe gluten allergy, can you make a note for the kitchen that it’s a severe allergy so that they take proper precautions when preparing my food” then I ordered the gluten free plate of grilled chicken parmesana. When it came out the waiter said “gluten free plate of chicken parmesana” but when he set it in front of me it was grilled chicken next to spaghetti. I did a quick google to confirm, but the only gluten free pasta they offer is rigatoni. (This means the waiter either didn’t write down the allergy information like requested, or the kitchen staff ignored the note!!) So the next time the waiter was by the table I said “excuse me, I ordered this gluten free and I don’t think this is your gluten free pasta” he was apologetic and took it back, it took them another 20 minutes to get my new food out (by the time it came out everyone was done eating and I didn’t feel like eating there much) but to be a good sport I ate some of the chicken and just a bite or two of the pasta. The waiter apologized some more and said he’d comp the meal (didn’t see the check so I can’t confirm) but he also offered a free dessert and I said “I think all of your desserts have gluten in them” and he apologized again and walked away. I’d recommend not eating here, but if you have to I’d seriously recommend getting the manager to take your allergy order to ensure it’s *hopefully* done right, because the staff seems to struggle with it.

OG has GF rotini available and the chef will visit the table to let you know they will prepare the order with care. I ask for croutons be removed from salad. Allergen menu does provide gluten items.

The manager came out to discuss my food allergies with me and told me about precautions they were taking in the kitchen to keep me safe. They clean the area, use clean pots and utensils, change gloves, etc.

There are not a lot of options, but the GF Rotini and meat sauce with sausages is really good. The manager even gave permission for them to make me a 'take home' version of my meal as pay of their current promotion so I wouldn't be left out. They take care with the salad as well to make sure there is no cross contaminating from croutons.

The food and service were both excellent!

There is a Gluten Sensitive menu available but it sucks. It has about 3 items on it. Steak, salmon and GF pasta with red sauce. I ordered the steak. The only side item available was broccoli. I hate broccoli. I ate the steak and was def still hungry. The waitress did seem knowledgeable. The only preventions for cross contact is taken with the GF pasta.
