Oly Rockfish Grill

I asked for a breaded oyster sandwich - gluten free. I was assured the breaded oysters were fried separately and fried in corn meal. My sandwich comes out, and thank gods I didn't take a bite out of it before verifying with the waitress it was gluten free -- THEY PUT MY GLUTEN FREE BREADED OYSTERS ON GLUTENOUS BREAD!!!

I've eaten here twice now. I have not had any reaction. They do not have a designated gluten-free area to prepare food, so I cannot say that it is celiac friendly. I also had no problem with staff when I inform them of my allergies.

Had a very simple meal, was assured it was gluten free, but definite cross contamination if not gluten in the meal ... Won't go back.

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Their menu lists several items as gluten free, including all their eggs benedict varieties, but when I told the waitress I was Celiac she responded "oh no" and said basically all of their food is cross contaminated. I appreciate the info, but she was extremely rude about it. You could tell she really wanted us to leave. She was not open to questions. We had to walk out.
