I was able to talk to the Omni food manager and he was very understanding and helpful. He talked to the chef at the Oceanside where we were having dinner. I had a delicious bowl with ahi tuna. They were able to accommodate my dairy free, gluten free requirements. The server was knowledgeable and was willing to talk to the chef about my concerns. I had no issues. Absolutely delicious and fantastic views!

The menu did not offer GF buns, but when I asked they did have them. I had the lobster roll on a gluten free bun and it was delicious!!

There are no gluten free menus throughout the hotel. Nothing is labeled gf. Not safe for those will any food allergy. I’m curious as to how this establishment is even on this website

Sunrise Cafe has amazing gluten free options! Had a delicious English Muffin and Avocado toast.
Room service is always a risk, but I had a long day. Ordered room service with Shrimp and Grits indicated multiple times that I had a gluten “allergy”. The “fried egg” on it turned out to be friend in a bread coating and they put bread on the tray.
Food was awful at every place on the plantation, I got sick to the point my stomach was bleeding by day 2. I sent back my food twice bc they put crackers in it and said they were not gf.

Sunrise was the best GF breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. It was fantastic. Marche burette, falcon’s best and veranda were very good for gluten free (and vegetarian). I didn’t have much luck with Oceanside but still had good options and the concierge was quite helpful in helping us navigate the selections.
All restaurants on property have GF options with the exception of the pizza place. Room service, breakfast, etc. can all make GF foods and very celiac friendly. Spoke to the chef who overseas all of the restaurants and he made amazing accommodations for us! Highly recommend!!!

Was here for a conference. Very pleased that meals in the ballroom offered a GF station for breads in the am. Has cards that labeled allergens on the buffet dishes. However, ( and I'm picky), I was dissatisfied that none of the meats on the final evening were gluten free. (This was a bike ride for those with T1D). Being vegetarian for a meal will not kill me. The food was excellent- ALL of it. And the wait staff was so fantastic. I will be glad to return next year.
This is the ideal place for Celiacs! Ordering at the pool and the staff will bring your gfree menu to order food from the restaurant on the property. Inside, the Seaglass bar had gfree bread top make sandwiches. Breakfast time... head to the Sunrise Cafe for gfree quiche, bread, cereal, muffins, biscuits, etc. aka carb overload which is rare for us Celiacs!
