HUGE FAN!! the fried chicken is some of the best i’ve ever had (gluten or no gluten). Super fast service and fantastic food! It’s crazy to walk into a brewery and get gf food but U felt safe and never got sick and got some good food!
We are a family-friendly brewpub located just outside of Love Field on Lemmon Avenue. We offer a varied selection of craft beer, cider, hard seltzer cocktails, mead, and wine. All of the ciders, our hard seltzer cocktails, mead, and wines are gluten-free. Our food menu is centered around our gluten-free fried chicken with many gluten-free scratch kitchen sides like our potato salad, brussels & almond slaw, and our cucumber & tomato salad. We offer a separate menu listing of our gluten-free items to make the ordering process easier, which is available on our website at on-rotation.com. Our fryer is only used for gluten-free items as are dedicated parts of the kitchen.
Order at bar and then find a seat anywhere inside or out. They’ll bring to your table.
This place has been on my list for a while but we don’t live in Dallas city limits so we finally had a chance to go this weekend when we were in the area. I knew it was near Dallas Love Field airport but did not how close it really was! It had a great little outdoor area with turf, outside games & a big patio so we loved sitting outside & the kids played. We are not beer drinkers but their food was great if you are in the mood for fried chicken! My daughter got the kids chicken nuggets & loved it! I got the buffalo chicken fries & they were not healthy but super tasty! And my husband is not gf but he got the fish & chips & couldn’t even tell it was a gf dish. We will definitely be back!
This is a terrific spot for fish and chips, fried chicken, fried okra and fried nuggets. We used to go to the Lakewood location before our family was impacted by celiac disease, and we are very grateful for what they have done since they moved! Definitely in our rotation (couldn’t resist :) ).
This place is delicious! My daughter has celiac, and I have a wheat allergy, and we ate there with no issues at all. We both had fried chicken and fried okra….two dishes we have missed immensely. There are a lot of GF choices, and we’ll definitely be back.
Me and my coworker with celiac both ate here no problem. I got the 1/4 mixed chicken with fries, peach mustard sauce, avocado jalapeño ranch, and a pink lemonade, and coworker got chicken tenders with waffles fries.
Food was tasty and filling. Separate GF menu if you look on their website.
But beware! This is a very popular place, not just for those of us who eat gluten-free. We went on a friday evening in October and the food took an hour to come out.
Enjoy but be wary if you're in a rush!
I love eating at On Rotation. I have been 5 times, and have enjoyed the experience every time. The staff is well versed on Gluten Free eating. They have increased their options for GF Beer and have always had ciders. It's very casual and they have games and a wonderful patio. Anything fried is GF and they have chicken, pickles, fish, etc. I ordered the Thai salad with fried chicken on top. It was large, spicy, and delicious. I've had fried pickles, brussels sprout salad, fried chicken, and several other items in the past. Very good food. If you are over at Love Field, the Flight Museum or going to Calloways, it's in a good spot.
Fantastic wings!! All sauces are gluten free and made in house. I also had a side of fries and a very good cucumber tomato salad with pickled red onion. My wife is non celiac but had the gluten free fish and chips. It was delicious and a great portion-also totally gluten free if you ask for no malt vinegar. Some of the best wings I have had ever! All fried items are gluten free. I will be back to try the fried chicken! Highly recommend.
Great chill vibe. Several GF beers in cans to choose from. They have several meads and ciders on tap, too. Server said everything fried was GF. Server pointed out that the malt vinegar had gluten and that they had a GF adult slushie, too. Best fish and chips I've ever had. So crispy and stuck to the fish. 🍯 had the GF fried chicken and that was amazing, too.
Soooooo good! I had the chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. The best I’ve ever had! Will definitely be back
😍😍😍😍
This place is AMAZING!!!! I had the fried pickles, the fish/chips also the chicken tenders. You would never guess it was gf. And I don’t think I have ever got to have fried pickles since I have been gf. I am sad because I don’t live close and wish we had something like this where I live. I would be be going there all the time.
This place is great! My celiac daughter is a kid and wants kid food and fried chicken was a huge hit! It was super tasty and safe, as were the fries and most of the sides. The service was fast and the beer selection was good (including some gluten-free options). I'd absolutely return!
Would definitely go back if I'm in the area. My entire order was great. I got wings, chipotle BBQ and sweet & spicy thai chili with fries. Both sauces were very good. Fries were perfect, crunchy and seasoned.
Mentioned gluten free and the cashier took care of the rest, was knowledgable about what was GF and what was not.
I came to try due to them saying gluten-free options. I doubled checked that everything that I ordered with GF. I got the fried chicken and I got sick after eating it. They said it was gluten-free but no way it was as how bad I got sick. I do not recommend at all. Never went back.
So nice to have gluten free fries and fried chicken. The fried pickles were also great.
Ordered through Door Dash, food was soggy and not edible. Luckily my hotel had a convection oven to try to save it. However I got glutened. I knew right after I finished. I immediately felt sick and proceeded to have gastrointestinal issues. The only thing good was the sauces.
They say gluten friendly and dedicated fryers. So why did I get sick and the food sucked overall.
Super disappointing. I don't know what everyone else was getting - or maybe they outsource delivery? But I got delivery and the food was terrible and tiny portions for an astronomical price. Chicken tender no better than the gluten free tenders you can buy frozen in the store, fried okra mediocre, tiny salad. It might be safe, but Dallas has way better gluten free options than this.
The best Gluten free fried chicken in Dallas. Loved the fried pickles. Not overly salty - just the right amount of crunch. The slaw ma be the best I’ve ever had. The prices are very reasonable. It is a brewery but the have hard cider, hard seltzer & GF Glutenburg beer.
I liked it overall….I am celiac and my partner is GF by choice. We split a big order of chicken tenders, fried pickles, okra, fries, and potato salad. The chicken and okra and fries were really really good. The pickles and potato salad were underwhelming, but that is probably just personal preference. The chicken tenders especially were REALLY good. Obviously we all know how hard it is to do GF fried things….they are doing a good job. They take gluten free very seriously and are serious about cross contamination. It was not the most friendly service I have ever had, and they charge extra for any sauce you want, what I think is lame. But that is their right. Overall I was very happy with my chicken tenders, okra, and fries. If I was in the area again, I would stop back by for those items. I always give 5 stars unless something was terrible, which it was not. Overall a good experience. I think Celiacs are safe here.
The fried chicken and okra are gluten free and taste amazing! Highly recommend this place. Great flavor and crunch.
