I asked the manager why the chips were not gluten-free. The manager told me because other locations cook the chips in the same fryers as the wheat fried foods. Corporate does not make the chips gluten-free on the menu because of that. But the Lawrence location has a dedicated fryer for the chips because the main manager there has a friend with celiac disease.... so she accommodates basically her friend. She said other locations DO NOT have dedicated fryers.
