I absolutely love One Dish! I love the meat lovers pizza and chocolate whoopie pie. I have celiac and it is so nice to be able to share everything with my family and not have to only eat what I order. They are knowledgeable, kind, and have high quality food. This is probably my FAVORITE restaurant!!!!!!!
Maureen and Dave run an amazing establishment that serves hundreds of people with all kinds of food allergies. From the minute you walk in the door, their passion to feed sufferers from food allergies safely is extremely evident. They ask everyone if they've been there before and if not, they run down how the restaurant is set up and run and how important it is that the customer keep the environment safe from food allergens for all customers. The food is amazing! They support numerous charities such as the Celiac and Autism Foundations. They tailor their service to each customer's needs. I am one of three people in my family that have Celiac Disease and I have numerous other food allergies as well. It is sublime to be able to safely eat out with my family. Thank you Maureen and Dave.
5 stars for the commitment they've made to ensure you're getting a meal you don't have to worry at all about. Unfortunately they are so high priced I can only eat there once every few months.. Food is good quality but not the best. Portions could be larger to offset the prices. Service has its weaknesses as well
100% gluten free. Owners were working at the store! a little on the expensive side but no worries of getting sick. Would drive an hour to get bread and goodies from here! Pizza was fantastic also!
Doesn't get more gluten free than this! While pricey, worth every penny. Pizza, sandwiches, pasta, baked goods...you name it.
It does not get any better than this, gf food that everyone, even non gf, enjoy.
THE best place to eat allergen & gluten free!!! I love their Hawaiian pizza and carrot cupcakes!!!!! You won't be disappointed!!!!
It's amazing to have a place like this to go, where my Celiac daughter can order absolutely anything off the menu. The staff is very thorough and clear about their allergy procedures, which really put us at ease. The baked goods and other desserts were delicious. That said, every entrée we tried tasted like something we could make at home, and was actually fairly expensive. The only reason I gave it only four stars is that the staff was a little rude, but judging by the other reviews here maybe they were having an off day.
Put simply, this restaurant is heavenly for people with celiac disease and food allergies. One of my children has celiac disease, and another has anaphylactic allergies to tree nuts and shellfish. Both of them can eat ANYTHING on the menu, and the freedom in that is such a beautiful thing. We can actually relax and enjoy our meal together, without fear of cross contamination or sickness. We have tried many things and all have been delicious. Their favorite is pizza and fries. Oh, and the cheesecake! Thank you for providing a safe haven for our family.
Been going here for years. The pizza is amazing. I also really like their sandwiches, especially the chicken parm. Chicken tenders are a good option on the cheaper side of their menu.
Great food! Great customer service! I highly recommend this place!
There is nothing else to say this place is awesome.
Food was delicious and workers were very knowledgeable on food allergies, etc A little pricey but I'll definitely go back
baked goods are the best ones I've ever had my non allergic boyfriend who seriously disliked gf baked goods loved the banana bread and donut holes. I also got bread, cupcakes and a muffin. staff was amazingly friendly and the fact the entire restaurant is wheat free made me feel so safe and accepted
best gluten free restaurant ever!
The gold standard for absolutely everything having to do with food allergies. Friendly staff who are proud of the food they make, with a restaurant that is so explicit and forthcoming about every ingredient that I have never once questioned if I was going to be okay. Hands down, 100% recommend the drive here. Try everything!!
This restaurant is doing an amazing service to the allergy community. The owner is a 29 year celiac and they take amazing care to safely feed a community of people who have never been able to safely eat out. Part of living with celiac is wanting to eat out, so you don't have to byo everywhere and have an easy dining experience. I was excited to find this restaurant, I am on the Gluten Cross Contamination Elimination Diet, and I really just wanted a safe place to get meal, not a place to live out my gluten fantasy. When I ordered a salad, I opened myself up to a long line of questioning that seemed to personally upset the owner and staff, who felt they had more knowledge than my dietitian (who is also celiac). I spent the entire time in the restaurant defending my perscribed diet. I just wanted to have an easy experience, to feel normal for once. instead I had so much attention drawn to myself, I'm glad I was with my best friends. I am glad they use high quality meats and produce, but I've never paid $14 for a salad of romaine, a couple strands of carrot and cucumber, and 4 slices of a chicken breast. Maybe the salad shaming was an attempt to hide this over priced dish. If you are looking for safely made sandwiches, pizza and cakes, please support this great business. Don't go here for salads or vegetables....
If I could give it more than five stars I would! My heart is so full after leaving the restaurant! Dave and Maureen were so welcoming it was like visiting with old friends. The food was delicious even to my father who has never eaten gf before! From the minute I walked in, it was like a support group and I left feeling like I wasn't alone! The food is safe from cross-contamination and is made with care! If you can't eat dairy either, no problem! They have thoughtfully prepared a system and have designated special places to prepare the certain foods. They are also a bakery so you can pick up amazing gf df treats for parties or celebrations, or just for something special on a summer's evening! I will definitely be back to this place!
Had a fantastic turkey sub and a chocolate whoopie pie that was amazing. They separate dairy free and gluten free too. Pizza looked and smelled wonderful. It was the best GF meal! I will be back! Had sweet and sour chicken today that was amazing! And chocolate cupcakes that were out of this world!
Yes yes yes yes! GF DF SF and more! Everything here is for sure, 100% DELICIOUS!
Outstanding business. Greeted by owner when we came in. Since it was our first time there she reviewed their procedures. Two separate kitchens - both gluten free, but one also dairy free. The entire facility is free of top 8 allergens. As I have a corn intolerance, she went over what was corn free that I could safely eat. They treat every allergy as if it is anaphylactic. So much attention to detail! Bread was amazing! Desserts were amazing. This is a must if you are in the area!
In love with this place! Wish I could eat here everyday. It's in a beautiful neighborhood and has lots of options. Expensive but they have to be. Owner has celiac and will talk to you about your allergies. Loved the pizza and icecream sandwich 💜 A dream come true for someone with IBS and Celiac like myself.
My boyfriend has celiac disease so every time he comes to visit me I try to find new places for him to eat. When I came across this place and saw the amazing reviews, we decided why not try it? I am not on a gluten free diet and I really enjoyed the food! We got chicken strips and a grilled cheese. Very tasty. The owner is very sweet and welcoming! She is also very knowledgeable and can answer any of your questions. The only con I have is the price of some items. A little pricey but worth it for when you want to try a different place. I highly recommend stoping by!
Wow!! You can eat here every day with special needs food allergies and know without a doubt you will be safe. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and can answer any questions or concerns. You get what you pay for!! If you are new to food allergies I recommend a conversation with the owners she is a wealth of knowledge and has plenty of material to read through in the shop library. I will return to try the pizza!!
This place is heaven for anyone with food allergies or food sensitivities. But it's also deliciious enough for anyone to eat here! Seriously, anyone and everyone could eat here and be satisfied. Come one, come all. You won't be sorry!
Believe the hype! My husband and I were in the area for three days and ate every single meal possible here! Safe and extremely delicious food. Everything we ate(and we ate a lot!) was delicious, but the steak and cheese grinder and the margherita pizza were my favorites. Oh, and the pumpkin cookies and carrot cake cupcake! My non-Celiac husband loved everything he ate, too. This a great restaurant regardless of whether you have Celiac or food allergies. It's a delicious restaurant with made from scratch food. The owners know their stuff and take great pride in their work. If you are even remotely in the area, go to this restaurant. And if you are in the area, I am jealous of you. (We're a 7 hour drive away and are already plotting how we're going to get back!) If you're flying in, save room in your suitcase to bring home food. I'm not kidding. Go, enjoy safe and delicious food!
Delicious food. Kiddos could not tell it was gluten free. My husband who has celiac disease, was in food heaven!
Amazing! I have had most everything on the menu, and every item wows me. Maureen and Dave are extremely accommodating with any of your needs and have an item for anything you may crave. For a celiac, like myself, this is truly paradise. Their sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, pastries, appetizers and entrees have all taken Maureen years to perfect, and perfect they are. They also have weekly specials which may include different pasta dishes, soups, sandwiches and amazing fried chicken. Whenever I am in the area I am always sure to eat all my meals at this amazing place and be worry free.
Best tasting GF Food and Treats I've had in a long time. Worth the trip even if out of the way.
so good we ate there twice in one day.
My fiancé and I are visiting from Arizona for medical treatment at Johns Hopkins and I struggle to find gluten-free food items when traveling. I feel so fortunate to have found this wonderful, little gem just outside of Baltimore! The owner is so pleasant and accommodating, detailed ingredient lists are available for every item, and the kitchen is dedicated allergen free as well as. We will watch for franchises to open up near us and frequent it often as well as purchasing meals/baked goods to take to the hospital with me. This beautiful restaurant is HIGHLY recommended!
We've been hearing about one dish cuisine but have never taken the opportunity to try it. As it turns out, that was a big mistake! They not only have amazing food, and a safe place to eat, but the food is actually quite extraordinary! I had the meatball sub and the bread was soft and fluffy. My son had the pepperoni pizza and I tasted it and it was really good. I wasn't a huge fan of the chicken nuggets and my other son wasn't a huge fan of the grilled cheese, however I thought the grilled cheese was rather tasty. All in all this is really a great restaurant that is worth trying even though it is a little hard to find. Oh yeah, and you can't beat the customer service!!!!
The only place we take my celiac son to eat out. 100% dedicated & also allergy safe! The food is delicious every time!
Such a great find! I could not get over the selection! It took me quite a while to decide what I wanted - everything looked & sounded so good. My husband & I split a pizza, a Rachel sandwich & a cupcake... It was delicious. Will be back again and again!
Their food was delicious, fresh, and served quickly. The interior offers a really comfortable casual feel and the owners hospitality is really fantastic. She made sure everything was perfect and really made us feel welcome. I went for breakfast with my mother, who doesn't have a restricted diet, and we ordered the breakfast pizza, apple struesel, and french toast sticks. Everything was delicious, truly delicious. Simply put, it was a delicious, welcoming, and headache free experience. No need to fret over whether or not my food is safe to eat, I could just enjoy the great dining experience.
Great GF pizza and service.
The best gluten free restaurant I've been to. Absolutely delicious Reuben Sandwich and Pizza. The best!
Chef and owner Maureen Burke was diagnosed with celiac disease close to twenty years ago, back when it was not common and doctors barely realized it existed. Now living a gluten and casein free lifestyle, she has created One Dish Cuisine to encourage those living with food restrictions to "come back to the table" and enjoy food that actually tastes good.
absolutely amazing place! totally gluten free, and all of the food there is amazing! I am currently pregnant and my doctors office is right near there, frequent all the time without feeling like I could possibly get contaminated! the owner is very knowledgeable and gas celiac herself! Love it and trust it!
The owner sends her food out to be tested to make certain that she is beyond any question avoided food industry cross contamination. ANYONE can eat here and not worry. And the choices!!!!!!!!
One Dish is the only place at which I can eat anything on the menu without a moment's hesitation. Two separate kitchen lines protect those with virtually any food allergy or other food-related illness. Exquisite carrot cake. It's where we go for pizza (because we're not very adventuresome eaters, and pizza is what I miss most since being diagnosed with celiac). I like mine extra crispy as it ensures the crust is browned all under. Learned that small is better than large for getting the texture I like best. Now serving breakfast, so I will have to get up early enough one day to enjoy that, too:-) Good variety and great taste.
Fantastic customer service and wonderful food. LOVED the bread and sweets I ate.
Great place to eat if you have allergies. Good food and good atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Brought my best friend here for the first time. I've been gf for 5 years, she is newly gf. Weboth really enjoyed it...tthe food was delicious!
Steak and cheese was fab. The fries were a bit drab and soggy but still good. I like that they make their own sauce. I went in on my birthday and got a free cookie too. Wasn't that good as it was from the green kitchen. But definitely an awesome experience and I'll be back. Plus it was busy. People came in without allergies and they ban outside food.
Super friendly and accessible. The owner, Maureen is very knowledgeable about autoimmune disorders and food sensitives. Very fun and informative to talk to her, and her pizza was some of the best I've ever had. Thank you!
A little hard to find as it is a strip mall in the middle of a suburban neighborhood. Being as it is only 20 minutes from the BWI airport it is worth working the GPS. The Ruben sandwich is very lean and tasty. This is the first time in years my wife has had a non-gluten Ruben. My meatball sub was good and I couldn’t taste any difference between non-gluten rolls. They make most (all?) of their condiments and I cannot recommend the hot sauce enough. Put some on my meatball sandwich and it really punched it up. Many homemade desserts are available. I had the Chocolate Chip Brownie cookie and enjoyed It. Cannot say enough about the friendliness and humor of the owner. He explained the differences in the two menus which I am sure he has explained a million times.
We're from PA and were doing a BWI airport pickup and needed to find a lunch spot -- this place is perfect. The owners and the food shine!
Dizzying array of gluten and allergen friendly fare ranging from a full restaurant and deli to a bakery. I sampled their muffins, cookies, mini loaves, and soup and cannot wait to go back for their pizza and sandwich options! Prices are reasonable and dairy containing and dairy-free items are clearly market green or blue because they operate to separate kitchens to minimize cross contamination.
