The reviews speak for themselves. We are from New Jersey and aren’t used to places liken this (100% GF). Everything was amazing and worry free.
Amazing food. My non gluten free husband and kids loved it as well! Very friendly staff. Pizza and donuts deserve a special mention. This was an hour drive away from home, but definitely worth it!
100% gluten free, 100% safe Also has a dairy free menu and is free of most common food allergens.
Knowledgeable staff. Good food. Dedicated facility. Caters to multiple food allergies.
Fantastic place! I had the GF Ruben with fries and donut holes for dessert. I was the only one in the restaurant due to this huge rainstorm and I had a nice conversation with the Owner. I highly recommend this place! They also cater to all major food allergies, not just Celiac, check them out!
Absolutely amazing place. Have been a celiac for 20 years and have not found a place like this before. The rye bread is amazing.
I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease and am so excited to have found this gem so early in my journey. I can eat literally everything on the menu! The mock rye bread is amazing! I had the Racel and hand cut fries. Delicious! Brought home some cupcakes and I'm in gluten free heaven. Can't wait to try more menu items!
Great allergy conscious restaurant. I enjoyed the Italian sub. I really loved the bread! Great desserts! I had a cinnamon bun! The entire facility is gluten free. And, most of the food is dairy free as well! There are many corn free options which is great for me as well.
The owner was incredibly hands on and even offered some cooking advice for us at home! Such a delightful restaurant and the first place we have been able to eat out since our daughter’s celiac diagnosis. We can’t thank you enough!
Amazing food, staff was super friendly!
Have eaten here twice in the past month and it's great. I'm a big fan of the Italian Cold Cut sub. That is next to impossible to find gluten-free, and it's delicious! But everything is good here. Tried the pizza recently and it was really delicious.
The gold standard in gluten free dining
This place is amazing. The steak and cheese sub is my guilty pleasure. Everything is gluten free and the friendly staff will question you to help accommodate other food allergies.
Very allergy friendly, entire place was gluten free, and also had food for other dietary needs like milk, egg, nut allergies! Staff was nice, knowledgeable!
If you have ANY kind of allergies this place is worth the stop. The owners are amazing and well versed in any kind of allergy. They have an array of baked goods, sandwiches, and pizzas. They make all their own breads. AND they separate their cooking and baking so they can provide DF!
This place is the epitome of allergen safe and friendly food service. Excellent service. Helpful from the moment that we walk through the door. Two menus so you can have Green which as dairy, or Blue which is dairy free. Had the eggplant parm from the Green menu. This place is going to make my girlfriend make me broke.
My granddaughter had her first birthday and I wanted a special cake. This cake was outstanding! Not only was it decorated magically, but it was delicious. I wish I could add a picture we took of the cake. It was better than what I expected. One Dish Cuisine went out of their way to make this a special event. Thank you thank you thank you. This is the only place to go if you want a delicious cake for a special event that is gluten-free. By the way, nobody knew it was gluten-free.
My son has celiac disease. This is a great place to be able to share food and not worry. We had dinner here last evening. The cheeseburger and fries were delicious. My son had the spaghetti and meat sauce. The pizza, Reuben and chicken tenders yummy Too! I recommend ! yummy food.
Highly recommend for celiacs, varied menu options, and delicious quality food. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating in a strip mall that was otherwise empty on a Sunday afternoon. The lady who helped with our order was patient, kind, and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Our family enjoyed the chicken parm platter, chicken tenders with fries, pulled pork sandwich, and 2 pizzas. Everyone agreed that the pizza was amazing, best pizza ever. We were so full that we didn't try the desserts.
Very friendly staff and very knowledge about allergies. Owner even knew sign language! We had the pizza which was really good. We will def come here again.
This is one of my favorite places to eat out, and the only place where I feel 100% safe that no cross-contamination will occur, which is vital for people like me who have been diagnosed with celiac disease. The owners are fabulous and truly caring towards the food allergy community. They have the best margarita pizza ever, and have even been told by an elderly woman from Italy that it the better than even hers! Also, I highly recommend their Maryland Wings, which are wings with Old Bay and Honey sauce. But, pretty much everything here is delicious, and that is what makes One Dish stand apart - the food is allergy and celiac friendly, but without any compromises to taste or presentation.
Owner was very friendly and a strong advocate for people with food allergies!
This restaurant has the BEST food and service. It was so nice not worry about getting sick because everything is g free!
I highly recommend this place! The owner is
The only place we take my celiac son to eat out. 100% dedicated & also allergy safe! The food is delicious every time!
Our whole family has allergy issues so it's great to have a place to go where we can all eat!
Tears literally welled up in my eyes as I tasted my first Reuben in six years (since my celiac diagnosis). This is hands down the best gluten-free restaurant I've visited, and I make a point of searching them out. The first thing you'll notice when you approach is a sign on the door forbidding any outside food or drink. Here's why--as the sign itself explains--that's important. Staying gluten-free, for those of us with serious autoimmune issues, is all about avoiding cross-contamination. These folks take it very seriously. Some supposedly gluten-free kitchens keep gluteny flour and bread perilously close to prep and cooking areas; the proprietors here do everything they can to not even let it in the door. The menu itself is split into two sections, one of which is also completely dairy free. Otherwise, in addition to gluten, they eschew a half dozen plus other major allergens. Again, this isn't a restaurant that addresses allergens casually, on the side or as a second thought. They take what they do very seriously. The food itself is delicious. That Reuben was amazing. They also have the best gluten-free fried chicken I've tasted. They make lots of desserts as well. If we lived in the area, I'd be there all of the time. I've told my wife that it'd be worth the flight out just to grab a meal. On top of everything else, the couple that owns and runs the place are extremely friendly and more than willing to share details about the operation and even give you insight into their personal experiences, which was also very welcome. And you can tell that they have good relationships with their regulars. One Dish is very close to BWI. My suggestion (and what we will be doing) is that every time you visit DC (let alone Baltimore) is to fly into that airport (Southwest flies there and from what we've seen the airport and the airline have the cheapest prices in the region, so you'd be doing yourself a favor anyway). One Dish was fortuitously our first stop after landing and picking up our rental and our last stop before heading back home.
I absolutely love One Dish! I love the meat lovers pizza and chocolate whoopie pie. I have celiac and it is so nice to be able to share everything with my family and not have to only eat what I order. They are knowledgeable, kind, and have high quality food. This is probably my FAVORITE restaurant!!!!!!!
Maureen and Dave run an amazing establishment that serves hundreds of people with all kinds of food allergies. From the minute you walk in the door, their passion to feed sufferers from food allergies safely is extremely evident. They ask everyone if they've been there before and if not, they run down how the restaurant is set up and run and how important it is that the customer keep the environment safe from food allergens for all customers. The food is amazing! They support numerous charities such as the Celiac and Autism Foundations. They tailor their service to each customer's needs. I am one of three people in my family that have Celiac Disease and I have numerous other food allergies as well. It is sublime to be able to safely eat out with my family. Thank you Maureen and Dave.
5 stars for the commitment they've made to ensure you're getting a meal you don't have to worry at all about. Unfortunately they are so high priced I can only eat there once every few months.. Food is good quality but not the best. Portions could be larger to offset the prices. Service has its weaknesses as well
100% gluten free. Owners were working at the store! a little on the expensive side but no worries of getting sick. Would drive an hour to get bread and goodies from here! Pizza was fantastic also!
Doesn't get more gluten free than this! While pricey, worth every penny. Pizza, sandwiches, pasta, baked goods...you name it.
It does not get any better than this, gf food that everyone, even non gf, enjoy.
THE best place to eat allergen & gluten free!!! I love their Hawaiian pizza and carrot cupcakes!!!!! You won't be disappointed!!!!
It's amazing to have a place like this to go, where my Celiac daughter can order absolutely anything off the menu. The staff is very thorough and clear about their allergy procedures, which really put us at ease. The baked goods and other desserts were delicious. That said, every entrée we tried tasted like something we could make at home, and was actually fairly expensive. The only reason I gave it only four stars is that the staff was a little rude, but judging by the other reviews here maybe they were having an off day.
Put simply, this restaurant is heavenly for people with celiac disease and food allergies. One of my children has celiac disease, and another has anaphylactic allergies to tree nuts and shellfish. Both of them can eat ANYTHING on the menu, and the freedom in that is such a beautiful thing. We can actually relax and enjoy our meal together, without fear of cross contamination or sickness. We have tried many things and all have been delicious. Their favorite is pizza and fries. Oh, and the cheesecake! Thank you for providing a safe haven for our family.
Been going here for years. The pizza is amazing. I also really like their sandwiches, especially the chicken parm. Chicken tenders are a good option on the cheaper side of their menu.
Great food! Great customer service! I highly recommend this place!
There is nothing else to say this place is awesome.
Food was delicious and workers were very knowledgeable on food allergies, etc A little pricey but I'll definitely go back
baked goods are the best ones I've ever had my non allergic boyfriend who seriously disliked gf baked goods loved the banana bread and donut holes. I also got bread, cupcakes and a muffin. staff was amazingly friendly and the fact the entire restaurant is wheat free made me feel so safe and accepted
best gluten free restaurant ever!
The gold standard for absolutely everything having to do with food allergies. Friendly staff who are proud of the food they make, with a restaurant that is so explicit and forthcoming about every ingredient that I have never once questioned if I was going to be okay. Hands down, 100% recommend the drive here. Try everything!!
This restaurant is doing an amazing service to the allergy community. The owner is a 29 year celiac and they take amazing care to safely feed a community of people who have never been able to safely eat out. Part of living with celiac is wanting to eat out, so you don't have to byo everywhere and have an easy dining experience. I was excited to find this restaurant, I am on the Gluten Cross Contamination Elimination Diet, and I really just wanted a safe place to get meal, not a place to live out my gluten fantasy. When I ordered a salad, I opened myself up to a long line of questioning that seemed to personally upset the owner and staff, who felt they had more knowledge than my dietitian (who is also celiac). I spent the entire time in the restaurant defending my perscribed diet. I just wanted to have an easy experience, to feel normal for once. instead I had so much attention drawn to myself, I'm glad I was with my best friends. I am glad they use high quality meats and produce, but I've never paid $14 for a salad of romaine, a couple strands of carrot and cucumber, and 4 slices of a chicken breast. Maybe the salad shaming was an attempt to hide this over priced dish. If you are looking for safely made sandwiches, pizza and cakes, please support this great business. Don't go here for salads or vegetables....
If I could give it more than five stars I would! My heart is so full after leaving the restaurant! Dave and Maureen were so welcoming it was like visiting with old friends. The food was delicious even to my father who has never eaten gf before! From the minute I walked in, it was like a support group and I left feeling like I wasn't alone! The food is safe from cross-contamination and is made with care! If you can't eat dairy either, no problem! They have thoughtfully prepared a system and have designated special places to prepare the certain foods. They are also a bakery so you can pick up amazing gf df treats for parties or celebrations, or just for something special on a summer's evening! I will definitely be back to this place!
Had a fantastic turkey sub and a chocolate whoopie pie that was amazing. They separate dairy free and gluten free too. Pizza looked and smelled wonderful. It was the best GF meal! I will be back! Had sweet and sour chicken today that was amazing! And chocolate cupcakes that were out of this world!
Yes yes yes yes! GF DF SF and more! Everything here is for sure, 100% DELICIOUS!
Outstanding business. Greeted by owner when we came in. Since it was our first time there she reviewed their procedures. Two separate kitchens - both gluten free, but one also dairy free. The entire facility is free of top 8 allergens. As I have a corn intolerance, she went over what was corn free that I could safely eat. They treat every allergy as if it is anaphylactic. So much attention to detail! Bread was amazing! Desserts were amazing. This is a must if you are in the area!
In love with this place! Wish I could eat here everyday. It's in a beautiful neighborhood and has lots of options. Expensive but they have to be. Owner has celiac and will talk to you about your allergies. Loved the pizza and icecream sandwich 💜 A dream come true for someone with IBS and Celiac like myself.
My boyfriend has celiac disease so every time he comes to visit me I try to find new places for him to eat. When I came across this place and saw the amazing reviews, we decided why not try it? I am not on a gluten free diet and I really enjoyed the food! We got chicken strips and a grilled cheese. Very tasty. The owner is very sweet and welcoming! She is also very knowledgeable and can answer any of your questions. The only con I have is the price of some items. A little pricey but worth it for when you want to try a different place. I highly recommend stoping by!
