Was not disappointed. Desperate fryer, knowledgeable staff. No worries what so ever.

No “fillers or thickeners” are used in any dish, per serving staff. Dishes are prepared by reduction methods. Unless menu items list gluten based items (eg, pasta, breads, etc), items are deemed gf. However, cross contamination still possible, so always alert server of gf need. Enjoyed the escargot, flounder (fresh catch) and salted caramel macarons. Fantastic and safe meal.

The staff was very educated in gluten and cross contamination. I felt so secure ordering. The food was amazing.

No doubt, Orsay is a wonderful restaurant that pays special attention to each patron. Over multiple visits in fact. They have an amazing wine list and a sommelier. The food is incredible, balanced, fresh, impressive. They don’t have a GF menu, they used to, containing what could be made GF. Current menu does not mark what is or could be made gluten-free so you need to talk with the waiter or waitress - they are more than happy to help you navigate through the menu and to make changes to items to make them gluten free. For that matter they are happy to help you with anything, it seems not possible to find the wait staff at Orsay not helpful. We asked and they do have a dedicated gluten-free fryer for the french fries and other items such as the chicken in the cassoulet. But you have to mention upfront you need GF. The seafood is delicious. Many wonderful appetizers. The drink list is unstoppable. And this place is nestled in a cozy portion of Park Street in a building with an interesting history. They have a nicely decorated side room with a drop down screen for meetings. Wonderful brunch menu. Great catering. Reservations are a must, unless you dig standing around. Couple outdoor tables. Even a tented wait area/chill out rainproof couch.

Tonight was my first time eating here. I expressed that I was gluten free. The waiter stated that they had a gluten free fryer and anything could be prepared gluten free . I orders the vegetarian shepherds pie. I was assured that it would be gluten free. 2 hours later and I am in pain. No doubt that request was completely ignored.

Update, 7/2021
There’s a GF fryer here now, but for some reason the GF menu is gone.
I have always loved Orsay, and was just diagnosed with Celiac a few months ago. If you're a reservation-maker, they'll keep notes on your preferences. And now every time I go, I'm automatically presented with their GF menu. You never feel like you're being slighted or eating from the back-up menu. GF dessert, too!

They have an entire gluten free menu, and wow is it delicious! Our waiter was very knowledgeable as well and even suggested gluten free desserts. We had the macarons and they were to die. Enjoy!

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner here! Many great items on the menu. Was a little pricey, but worth it.
