Un pranzo veramente eccezionale. Nel menù c’è una pagina dedicata alle pietanze gluten free. Diversi antipasti, primi, secondi e contorni. Non abbiamo preso dolci, perché eravamo piene. La migliore tradizione veneziana, senza glutine. Il posto é suggestivo e il servizio molto veloce. La pasta alle vongole era fantastica!
This cozy small restaurant serves excellent dishes. Mostly pasta, seafood and very good wine. They have a gluten-free and a normal menu. The gf menu is very similar to the normal menue. The service is very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our lunch very much. :)
Had a lovely dinner here— the scallops and mashed potatoes to start, and the ink and cuttlefish pasta. It was so good I was sure it was regular pasta, but I am very sensitive and has no reaction, so it is just very good pasta. Also one of our favourite tiramisus of our trip. Make sure to make a reservation!
Summary: Safe and delicious.
My gluten free dinner here was absolutely delicious and I didn’t have any reactions afterward. They have a separate gluten free menu and our server was very knowledgeable about what was gluten free. For our appetizer, we had the scallops, and they were the best scallops I have had in my life. They were served on mashed potatoes and had zucchini on top. For my main, I had the spaghetti ragù. And for dessert, I had the tiramisu. Simply amazing. They also serve GF bread!
The food here was exceptional, I'm Vegan and my partner is gluten free and they had options for us both. The side of eggplant was particularly delicious. The service was fine and professional up to the point where the waiter effectively scalded me for not flagging that I was vegan when the 'vegan' dessert I ordered came with cream on it due to a shortage of ingredients in the kitchen. It was a real shame because it was the best meal we had in Venice this time round. It is expensive but the quality of the food stacks up with the price, the service not so much.
A perfect little spot! Definitely feels less touristy than some of the other restaurants we saw/ate at. Small place with just a handful of tables so I’d make a reservation (we did on The Fork and it had a 20% a la carte code).
Theres a separate page of the menu for gluten free and they even brought bread to the table for me!
INCREDIBLE! GF bread and oil, best bolognaise I’ve ever eaten (even before I was GF!) & GF tiramisu made to order! What else could you ask for! Book on Fork for best offers
We enjoyed a really lovely gluten-free lunch at Osteria Antico Dolo. The owner was welcoming and the restaurant has a dedicated gluten free menu. We opted for the grilled squid salad to start, which was perfectly dressed. We split the spicy shrimp pasta and the fried sea bass that came with cooked eggplant. All of it was excellent! If we had more time in Venice we would have returned for dinner.
Friendly staff, beautiful food and great gluten free spaghetti and bread! Definitely recommend
I researched for some time before resorting to a late night dinner at this restaurant with my husband, the restaurant was not overly busy when we arrived however we received awful service. Took our order quickly however it took an hour to receive a simple gf pasta with cherry tomato sauce, nothing else involved in the meal (extremely bland and lacked flavour). People were arriving, eating and leaving the restaurant before we had even received our meals. GF Pasta was very undercooked and unpleasant. To top it off, sick all day today (from early in the morning and it continued for the following two days!) so obviously was not suited for a coeliac. They do provide a separate gluten free menu however mostly seafood based. My husband was not overly impressed with his normal pasta dish either. Would not recommend, especially if coeliac like myself, 3 days of being unwell while travelling was not ideal.
I am on a high school music trip to many European countries including: Italy, Germany, Czech, Switzerland, and Austria. So in many of the towns finding some where to eat was difficult. This was the best meal I had the whole trip. It was the only time I was able to have spaghetti and tiramisu. One of my friends was nervous that they gave me a regular spaghetti because it was so perfectly made that you wouldn’t be able to tell it was gluten free. My gluten free meal was fantastic, my friend enjoyed there regular meals, and the service was lovely. I really recommend this restaurant for everyone gluten free or not 😁
My 12 year old daughter with celiac enjoyed gluten free bread, caprese salad and penne pasta with tomato sauce.
I had the tiramisu, it was really good! Cozy little place to pass some time on a rainy afternoon
Great GF bread from a local purveyor, warm, friendly service. The only reason it's not more stars is the cost. We ordered two desserts, one salad, and 5 portions of starter pastas- two of them plain. Felt it was very expensive at €135. Menu is mostly seafood. Decor is circa 1945 a la medieval.
Pasta with tomato and basil was so delicious and rich tasting! And the tiramisu was yummy, although no coffee flavor, it was light and decadent tasting. The waitress/owner(?) was pleasant and helpful. The space is small and dark (we sat by one good window) but the food is so good!
separate good choice gf menu, lots of pasta dishes reasonably priced and staff seemed knowledgeable. I had the clams which was very nice, not exceptional
