I gotta say, it was the real deal. For a gluten free bar, it actually had a cool atmosphere. A worthy replacement of buck wild in Oakland. And gluten free dogs too!? I’ll be back.

Great beers, friendly staff and delicious hot dogs on Mariposa buns 😋

100% gluten free beers and small menu with otherwise beers on tap and other NA drinks available. They also have a small snack menu with hot dogs and chips. If you happen to be vegan and a celiac there's one vegan hot dog option (beyond meat, mariposa bread) Place is tiny but there is also outdoor seating in a parklet with heat lamps. Beers are great.

Celiac approved - San Francisco’s first 1000% gluten-free taproom. They offer gluten-free hotdogs and bar snacks as well. If you have any issues, intolerances or allergies, come here, for a beer or a dog - great people. Owner (Stellar) is knowledgeable and amazing.

Had a refreshing rice lager and a chocolatey stout. They also have IPAs if you’re one of THOSE people 🙂 Stylish design and friendly bartender. Happy this place exists.

I really wanted to like this place. It’s a woman run gluten-free taproom. My experience wasn’t great. they allow outside food in—gluten containing and all— which I guess is whatever since they don’t serve food. What REALLY got me is the bartender who indicated she owns the place… she doesn’t believe (??) in celiac testing. She’s making gluten free beer because she doesn’t see other people doing it??? The conversation was off putting to me as someone who super struggles with navigating glutenfull spaces

Hi, thanks for your review. I do however believe that the conversation was misheard or similar as I literally just got an endoscopy for Celiac testing last week! I wholeheartedly believe in Celiac testing and would never say otherwise. I’ve been talking about the procedure with people quite frequently lately, which is why I think that was either misheard or misunderstood. Also, as our website states, we are still in the soft opening stage until April 6th, when our food program is up and running and will be an entirely GF facility. For the time being, we are letting outside food in until our grand opening in a few weeks.
