EDIT: According to Sherry Lynn’s Facebook page, they are no longer supplying the gluten free bread products on the O’Tooles menu, despite the actual menu saying otherwise. I’m not sure what they’ve replaced them with. Udi’s? Will have to investigate before giving them a positive rating again. It’s a shame because I love eating here. ——— Original review below —— Gluten Free wings, Sherry Lynn's Gluten Free breads, GF beer - Eat Gluten Free on the patio! Casual pub with great food.

Caution: as of May 2018,O'Toole's no longer uses breads and rolls from a local, dedicated GF Bakery (Sherry Lynn's). They have changed to Udi's. This is a big disappoint to the local GF community. The regular menu may still claim they use Sherry Lynn's, but they don't.

Used my Nima to test the chicken fajita. It came back as having “gluten found”. The manager was very nice and took it off the bill and offered me other things, but questioned me saying she couldn’t understand what had gluten. I tested French fries as well and they came out safe. I wouldn’t come here again.

Come here often because of all the choices!! Let’s change that to used to come here. Changed the menu, manager very rude, arguing with me that the menu wasn’t smaller. Never again and we used to come about once a month.

The hostess was rude when I walked in with my fiancé and family. She said you god with a high top? I said, no can we please have a booth. She’s like sure, I guess. Anyway, I asked for a gluten free menu and she said no whatever is marked GF in the menu is what you can eat. Well, I looked at the front of the MENU AND IT SAYS MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR OUR GLUTEN FREE MENU!! So, I asked our waiter for the menu... he’s like no, that’s your menu. Wasn’t very friendly, again very rude like the hostess. Also, the guy in slacks, shiny black shoes and a button up, probably the manager walks around like he’s better than everyone. Overall, I “can’t wait” to try my Ruben... I wonder if they did away with the dedicated space and fryer. Anywho, if you want rude and unknowledgeable staff DONT COME HERE, unless you like that type of shit. Lastly, they did away with a lot of gluten free items. It use to have an 90% out of 100 votes say it’s celiac friendly. Well, can’t say that now!

Lots of options, separate GF menu, dedicated fryer. Chicken tenders were juicy & perfect texture--kids loved them, along w GF pasta. I had GF Reuben on bread from a local bakery--Sherry Lynn's. Delicious GF,DF flourless chocolate cake for dessert. Chef was friendly & clearly committed to GF--is about to offer a new item: GF spaetzel.

It was such a pleasure to go out and have so much to choose from. The Irish nachos are fantastic. The French fries are some of the best we've had and are gluten free! Be sure to order off of the GF menu. They say that there is dedicated cooking space And a dedicated fryer. We had fried wings. what a treat. Definitely celiac precautions here. Enjoy.

I like this place and i've been a few times and it was good but the last time I ate there I was glutened. Not sure what happened but I don't know if I will be back. Also, they fry in soybean oil so if you have a soy issue avoid fried foods.

Gluten free chicken parm sandwich and fries were great. Even got a yummy from my 12 year old. So nice to have a family place to eat with so many options. It was so good the rest of us ordered gluten free even though it wasn't necessary so we could all share. Waitress was knowledgable and even remembered to put gluten free ketchup on our table.

Great place. Typical restaurant/bar atmosphere but the staff was nice, including the bartender. I was treated to a gluten free Reuben with French fries and they were excellent! Best homemade gluten free bread I've ever had! The waitress knew all about the gluten-free bakery where the bread was from (close-by) and the meal was so good that my non-gluten-free boyfriend was extremely impressed when he tried it. Beer was a little pricey but to have a real sandwich that didn't fall apart and tasted amazing completely made up for it.

The waiter didn't know how safe the kitchen actually was. I kept asking questions and he kept going back to check. They have Shelly Lynn's bread and roles, dedicated fryer, and dedicated grill space. I didn't get sick at all. Also three gf bottled beers.
