I just called them and they told me that they use gluten-free wheat starch for the Schnitzel.
For those of us seeking GF German food these guys are awesome. Very GF conscious and they'll advise you what can and can't be GF. The GF wiener schnitzel is both huge and super tasty. If you love ice cream omg amazing. All the staff speak good English for those of us with limited German.

I ordered a glutenfree schnitzel, it was delicious. The waiter asked if I had celiac or if I was gluten intolerant. The service was great. Their menu shows which items contain gluten, and the waiter informed which dishes could be made in a glutenfree version.

We, 4 people (1 celiac, 2 gluten intolerant, 1 normal) came here for the GF schnitzel. We order and as we wait the waiter brought some bread to the table. We asked if it was GF to which he said no to one and yes to the second one. Asking what flour the second had he said Rye... So, not GF. Our normal was happy cause he got the bread for himself then. The restaurant could not provide actual GF bread for the rest of us.
The schnitzel however was very good and GF so the kitchen seems to know what works and not for a celiac.
When we paid they brought a small piece of cake. This was, again, not GF and no option was given.
Dispite these hiccups the evening was very nice and both food and service good. Worth a second visit when our paths bring us back to Berlin.

I am so glad I found this restaurant thanks to reviews here! I found eating GF in Berlin difficult so was so thankful to have such a delicious meal here. The staff that helped me spoke English and told me I could have the gluten free version of their weiner schnitzel, with the side of salad. It was some of the best potato salad I've ever had! I also has sorbet for dessert. The restaurant seems to be very busy and seems like reservationa are typically needed but I went early and alone and got lucky with a spot on the patio outside.

Delcious GF wiener schnitzel, appetizers, wine. Perfect for sitting outside on a nice evening. Staff speaks English and understands Celiac/gluten issues. GF items marked but they offered to adjust other options.

We walked in without a reservation (you probably need one normally) and we got great, quick service in English. Allergens are marked on the menu but when I said I’m celiacs the waiter offered the gf version of schnitzel (which is why we came), and it was delicious. Great!

Fantastic gluten free Wiener Schnitzel. Ask the server to make it GF. The entire menu is labelled for allergies but don't mention on the menu that the Wiener Schnitzel can be made GF. The place also had a great ambiance and service. The drink aperitifs were especially excellent.
