I ordered off their gluten free menu. They don’t have a lot of options. I got steak and shrimp. When they brought my food, the shrimp was sitting on top of bread. 🙄

Celiac daughter: They provided a gluten-free menu when requested. The waitress understood my daughter’s g-f diet need and assured me that the cook staff would be informed. There were sever main courses offered but few side choices. However, upon receiving her salad it was apparent that croutons had been placed on her salad and then removed.
No
This place understood my gf and df allergy and also made sure the cook was Aware of my allergy. They offer a separate gf menu.
No
Went to this outback for my first dinner since my diagnosis. I ordered the Alice springs chicken with a salad and potato. The waitress asked my husband if he wanted bread since I cant have any :) she also must have realized there was croutons or something wrong with my salad cause she never put it down and came back with mine. However my chicken had 2 plastic cardboard pieces mixed in with the mushrooms likely from the container they came in. I spit them out and sought the manager. I did not feel confident that he took care of the issue in the kitchen but comped my meal. I dont think I got gluten, so there's that.

My 5 year old has celiac and they had a page of gluten free items. Appetizers, entree sides, deserts. He had steak, mashed potatoes.

I ordered online for carry-out. I very specifically noted in three different spots on the order (with steak, with salad, and with shrimp appetizer) Celiac - NO Gluten, please. I also requested No Toast with the Shrimp Appetizer, No Croutons with the salad, and No Bread with the order. When I opened the big bag there was a smaller bag with a loaf of bread sitting on top of the order. I wasn’t thrilled but it was in its own bag so I felt ok with the rest of the order other than the baked potato topping that were under the bread. As I got into the entree container, though, the add-on shrimp that I ordered with my steak was wrapped up in foil but sitting on a piece of toast. I get that I am taking a chance with cross contamination by eating at restaurants but I would have thought that they would be careful enough not to actually stick both a piece of toast and a loaf of bread in an order with Celiac marked all over it. Obviously they don’t take any care or pay any attention to food allergies.
