We waited an hour with no food delivered. They ran out of ribs so we left.
Great selection of steaks and chicken all gluten free. Chips are not Gluten free cooked in same fryer. But plenty of other options mash potatoes, salad, veggies and bakes potatoes. Great sauces which are Gf as well. Staff had great knowledge

Always a reliable option at outback. There gf menu hasn’t changed in about 15 years but they can always be trusted for a steak & baked potato

Thunder from down under, baked potato, ribs. We tested all of these with our Nima and all a success. Knowledgable staff, good food and visited a few times during our stay.
Almost always a safe choice while traveling. However, like another reviewer, I also have trouble with their salads. For that reason, I always order the same dish. Pricey, but a great, consistently safe meal on the road or for special occasions. Five stars for the Outback near Pigeon Forge, TN, who also had delicious gf rolls!

Very good service and knowledgeable server. Nice GF menu. Got chicken and a baked potato and everything was fine.
Service? A little awkward but overall good service.
The food? Well... It was good while I ate it. I got the shrimp Caesar salad and specifically asked for no croutons and for it to be prepared gluten free. The waiter said "gluten free? Yeah." and seemed like he understood. I have been to other Outbacks and ordered this same item and had no problems, but honestly, I'm lucky I made it back to our hotel. Within about a hour of leaving Outback, I was sick. The last meal/food I ate was 6 hours prior to arriving at Outback so I'm certain that Outback was the culprit. Pretty sad as they do have a dedicated gf menu and apparently are trained on gluten-free awareness. I am honestly questioning how well all locations are trained or if some staff members are even trained enough to know the words "gluten free."
My poor review is from the fact that I got sick . I understand cross-contamination (and have had no problems at other restaurants... Ones that don't even have a dedicated gluten-free menu), but I expect more from Outback's supposedly GIG-trained staff.
Update:actually went back 4 times in late 2020/early 2021 and got glutened 3/4 times. I’m certain there is an undeclared allergen in either the steak seasoning or salad dressing. Only time I did not get sick was when I had a baked potato with just sour cream. 2016 review:Hit or miss, recently a total miss. Go to Firebirds across the street instead. I had better luck at this location two years ago compared to recently; hence 2 stars rather than 1. Salad had a single crouton on it and evidence that another had been picked off. I sent it back and stressed I have Celiac and please be careful. Brought me another and started eating and saw there were crumbs on the cucumbers. Then they brought my steak out on the same plate as my husband's fries, which are not GFree at all (we were sharing the steak and I had specified it needed to be in its own plate, the fries were specifically ordered as a separate order). I asked the manager and she said the kitchen staff didn't know and she would get us new fries. That wasn't the issue, so clearly she did not understand either which is frightening. I anticipate possibilities for cross contamination at such places, but total inability to even plate the food safely is ridiculous. Needless to say, 40 minutes later I was in pain. Too many errors, I have no confidence in their ability to take allergies seriously.

I was reassured by my server that I could eat safely here. She mentioned the gluten free list and I ordered off of that. I was sick 20 minutes after eating. Cross contamination is my guess.

We ordered baby ribs that was very good with decent choice of sides. Their GF brownie is amazing!

As well as being gluten-free and very sensitive to cross contamination, I am now on a low-fat map elimination diet. I told the waiter that I had several allergies and had a few questions about the menu. He went ahead and told the chef about my allergies and when he brought our drinks he said they would take care of me. He went above and beyond and I really appreciated it. No bad reactions at all.

Meh service, but AMAZING to have a sizable gluten free menu to pick food from. The server seemed fairly aware, and I did not get sick. Steak could have been better, gluten free brownie dessert with ice cream was DELICIOUS ❤
