Recently diagnosed with celiac. I haven’t eaten out in 6+ months because of it. We went for my husband’s birthday. I had the aussie springs chicken, sweet potato and a salad. That sat well and no reaction, however when I had the GF brownie I immediately could tell my stomach was having a reaction from it. As reported by someone previously, they also had a reaction to it. If you have celiac, I would highly recommend opting out of the brownie if you go. All in all it was a great experience besides that mishap.

Food was good but there was a crouton in the bottom of the salad bowl!! Guess waiter just picked them out! Not happy!!
Love outback's GF menu. Our waiter checked with the manager after we told him we were ordering gluten free. Steak was good and the baked potatoes were ok. I usually get mashed potatoes, but at this location they were a little dry and bland. Overall it was a good meal though!
Have celiac disease... pretty good foods and options. ACTUAL gluten free menu. They could improve on staff knowledge, but I'd say not too shabby.
I had a bad reaction from eating the brownie that I was assured was gluten free... As a fellow celiac just be very careful and ask to see an ingredient list!
I love eating here!! I have celiac disease and I get really bad reactions when I get gluten. I've never had a bad reaction to anything I've eaten here. The staff is always very knowledgeable. When you ask about gluten free or about something on the menu they know what you are talking about and what precautions they have to take to ensure the food really is gluten free.

I don't like GF menus that result in this "without xx" or "no sauce". That's not a gluten free menu. I've had good experiences here as far as basics- salad "without croutons", steak, and vegetables "without seasoning". Their chocolate thunder down under is a GF dessert and it's yummy! I have had issues with their staff being poorly trained (including a waitress insisting their bread was gluten free). Overall, we've never been sick from cross contamination, so I'm sticking middle of the road!
Phillip Morris had a gluten free girls back. He pointed me in the right direction on the menu and made sure all of my food was safe to eat. Staff like this make you feel safe to enjoy your meal without the nagging fear of getting served something you can’t have. I will definitely be back for excellent service.

I’m from out of state and our Outback closed so I’m always excited when I find one! I was diagnosed with celiac in 2002 - back then no one knew what gluten was and Outback was one of the first restaurants to offer a gluten free menu
Stopped in for lunch, their gf menu is pretty much updated/current (2023)
Server was knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free told me the chef will cook my chicken on foil on the grill
Had salad w ranch dressing, chicken on the Barbie , and loaded baked potato
I usually get the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under (gf brownie with gf ice cream) it’s sooooo good but it’s shareable size and I was alone…. I could eat it by myself but saving the calories so if you do go here save room for it so you can order!

The waitress's grandmother had celiac so she was very knowledgeable. My daughter ordered the steak and fruit for kids. Also she got a lemonade and vanilla ice cream. The waitress (Jill I think?) made sure the kitchen staff changed gloves and everything. She did not bring out bread at our request. Their GF menu was pretty large. I ordered a grilled chicken salad for myself.
