I had the ribs with sides of baked potato and salad. The ribs and potato were good, but the salad was a little basic.
Having an actual gluten free menu is just awesome. It's a big American chain so the food was typically plentiful and tasted decent.

bigger than average gluten free menu....there is a huge selection....even the "chocolate thunder from down under is gluten free" Brownie & ice cream ...they said they Can't help cross contamination but I don't think anyone can.
I was very impressed with this restaurant. I asked for a Gluten-free menu and it was brought to me right away. There was a good sized menu with a variety of food to choose from. The only thing I did not see was an appetizer. I even had chocolate thunder from down under dessert made with a flourless brownie!! My husband ate it with me and could not tell that it was gluten free! This restaurant is highly recommended.
It’s just ok. I don’t understand how in 2025 a large chain restaurant still doesn’t offer gf buns or bread for their sandwiches- it’s not hard to do. I don’t want to just eat a hunk of meat sometimes. Their steaks are hit or miss- sometimes great, sometimes not. Fries are not gf which is disappointing. Outback is a place I go if there are no other options or I really want steak, but they could really do better for their gf options.
My food was delicious and did not get sick. My server was very knowledgeable of cross-contamination and assured me they would take precaution. They have a separate area and grill where they prepare meals for people with allergies. I asked the hostess to please pair me up with a very knowledgeable waiter/waitress on allergies.
Terrible experience. Told waitress I was allergic to gluten but still got bread on my plate. They asked if they could just remake the shrimp since it was on the bread. I asked them to remake everything my plate came back 15 minutes later. Waitress never apologized and I got a bad reaction afterwards.
