I am able to eat at any Outback in the country and not get sick, but I cannot say that is true with the Annapolis Outback. Ordered steak, sweet potato and broccoli. Our server didn't seem to care about my gluten issues, and made himself very scarce. Aside from gluten issues, my steak was over cooked and awful. I was sick as a dog before we made it home, horrible cramps and then you know.. usual celiac problems. I think it was the sweet potato or a topping they put on the sweet potato. Will never return to this Outback again.
Had an unfortunate experience recently. Ordered steak, sweet potato, and salad with no croutons. As I was eating (and because I am paranoid about eating out) I kept thinking I was tasting croutons, but thought it must be my imagination...not so, before I left the restaurant, I was doubled over with pain and sick for three days. I guess someone put them on the salad, then saw the order and picked them off, leaving the "dust"!!! No more salads from Outback!!!!
Real GF menu, shocking amount of items available, including Thunder from Down Under "flourless" brownie sundae. Make sure you do not get seasonings of veggies.
I was pleasantly surprised that there was a gluten free menu which clearly marked what was safe for me to eat. I was also excited about the gluten free chocolate brownie dessert and it did not disappoint. Service was great, but most of the food had way too much butter and was soggy.
