I thought I loved Outback Steakhouse for their wonderful *blooming onion*, but now I adore them for putting the effort into having a specific GF menu available to help make your dining experience more accommodating!
Although the blooming onion is not at all GF (sigh) they have many other tasty items available to choose from.
Side note: Might I recommend you try their blue cheese vinaigrette next time you order a salad. No, it tastes nothing like blue cheese (as I’m not typically a fan of that flavor). Yes? it’s GF :)
Celiac review - Has a gluten free menu online to look at. I have gone 3 time and I stick to only what is in the gluten free menu. I don’t end up really sick I still end up with symptoms, brain fog, arthritis pain, hives, diarrhea. So there is some contamination happening all three times, probably from the dishes.
wow. just amazing to go to a steak place and have a gluten-free menu with a lot of choices.
Super good food with a lot of options. I didn't feel like I was limited to the "salad only" option that a lot of restaurants have. And the staff really listened and made sure I was taken care of. Will definitely make this a place I go to regularly.
Very accommodating with allergies just need to let the server know or get a manager to let them know and they will discuss with the cook. They have a GF menu.
I have celiac and I'm very sensitive to cross contamination. As long as you communicate, they are very safe. I've eaten here many times and have never been sick!I highly recommend the Alice Springs chicken. I've also had lobster, Grilled shrimp, house salad, salmon, and many steaks. It's my go to in any state.
Decided to come here based on other positive reviews. They have a separate GF menu, you just need to ask. It has a ton of options on there and lists out any necessary modifications that need to be made. I ordered the lunch center cut sirloin with asparagus as my side. No reaction afterwards
