Food was delicious and service was quick. I felt fine after eating there, though my stomach isn't as highly sensitive as others. Server seemed knowledgeable and able to accommodate gluten free for many dishes.
EDIT: My celiac partner and I got heavily glutened last time we went to OEK even though we ordered our meals GF and they came with GF bread. I have been sick for over a day now, unlike my partner who was only really ill yesterday. We even ordered different sides (they have no dedicated frier) to avoid cross contamination, but since the place was insanely busy, I don’t think they put care into our meals. NEVER coming back here. If you cannot service a customer because you’re stacked with orders, tell them it’s not a good time for them to eat here. You’d gain our respect instead of losing our business.
My celiac partner and I don’t have a problem dining at OEK, they have gluten free bread, and can make items gluten free and clean surfaces, and the servers are very knowledgeable. One con is that they don’t have a gluten free frier, our server said there is a celiac staff member who can’t eat fries or fried food from the frier because they get sick.
OEK is pretty good, and is a great hangout spot!
