Owen & Engine

Before being diagnosed with CD I used to love dining at Owen & Engine. I was really nervous going back, but after calling the restaurant I found out that my favorite dishes were gluten free. I ordered the bubble and squeak, and the bangers and mash of the day with no gravy (the gravy contains flour). It’s important to note that the standard bangers do contain gluten, but the bangers du jour are gluten free. There were a few other gluten free options or dishes that could be made gluten free, but not a lot. The staff was very knowledgeable about CD. Also, sadly the frier is not gluten free :-(.
