Excellent Mexican cuisine worthy of the Michelin star it received. My partner and I have visited several times in the last months—our favorite dishes are the fried shrimp tacos and wood fired entrees (sea bass and steak). The staff have always been attentive and knowledgeable about menu options based on allergen needs, even when dishes rotate seasonally. During the times we dined, all items on the main menu were gluten free (unsure about the dessert menu), and the kitchen was also able to omit dairy as needed.
Severely sensitive to cross contact/contamination and highly symptomatic celiac, did not get sick! Waitress and kitchen staff were extremely helpful in highlighting what would be safest for me (also accommodated other allergies like dairy, soy and corn + tree nuts for my husband) and walked me through how those dishes would be prepared safely. Most of the menu is actually gf besides a few items. Food was delicious!! Will be back!
Some really yummy flavors and great blue corn tacos. I have celiac and vegetarian and the staff was knowledgeable about a designated fryer. There was no wheat in kitchen other than one order came with bread as side (can swap for chips) and soy sauce in one of the sauces that can change out for tamari. Only thing really is cost for 2 small tacos/order and really no two squash tacos should be more than $20 at a small shareable plates restaurant. Delish food for special occasion. I ordered the tlayuda, chips and salsa, and squash tacos.
Menus is almost entirely gluten free (although didn’t ask about shared fryer or surfaces) and is totally delicious. We had a wide range of apps, grilled salad, tacos and all three deserts were GF. The tuna tostada subbed tamari and is a must order. Service was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and made any modifications needed.
I went here for brunch when I was visiting Brooklyn. Nearly everything on the brunch menu was GF and the server confirmed the chips were as well.
The beet and lamb tacos were delicious as was the chips and salsa. I would absolutely recommend this place for celiacs not only was the food GF but it was delicious too!
Staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Almost everything on the menu was gf. Only a dish or two had any potential of gluten, and it was an easy alteration.
Nothing with gluten goes into the fryer, either! I enjoyed a frozen Paloma and several other items including fried fish!! I am highly sensitive and I strongly recommend!
Everything on their menu can be made gluten free! The food is delicious, def recommend!
