Had dinner here tonight. Cowboy burger. Udi brioche bun was good and I usually don’t like udi thick buns. Burger was juicy and good. Separate fryer so I had the fries. They also had a thousand island like gf dressing. Also had gf chocolate cake and ciders if you want but I was stuffed. Waitress was super knowledgeable and helpful. Made me feel very comfortable. To be honest I am getting itchy around the eyes 30 minutes later but not feeling anything around my throat(I have a wheat allergy) so I will take it as a win.
We had a fantastic dining experience while traveling with a group. They accommodated 12 of us, a couple with Celiac disease and a vegetarian, beautifully & safely! They have very knowledgeable staff, understood gluten free/allergen needs, have menu adjustments and dedicated fryers. We are here twice as a group with success and enjoyed our meals each time!
Deep fried sweet and sour chicken!!! So thankful to find a place to get this delicious dish!!! Have had it several times now, never sick!! Dedicated fryer for fries too! Menu is clearly marked, lots of options, staff is helpful. Chicken noodle soup has rice noodles. Not a huge selection of DF but I mostly just go for sweet and sour chicken!
GF options are very clearly marked on the menu. Spoke to the waitress, and she was very knowledgeable (turns out her family owns the restaurant, and she is gluten-free herself). There is also a dedicated GF fryer. My daughter (who has Celiac) had the GF mac and cheese and lived it! Finished the entire plate!!
The owner is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about gluten free and vegan. The menu has many options and you don’t feel like a bother when ordering. The food was delicious. My sister-in-law said they have the best iced tea in town. I wish I lived nearby and could visit more! Richland is lucky to have them.
Based on my conversation with the server, I had no concerns. That said, my food arrived with a breadstick on top of a pasta dish and I reminded them that I had celiac. They removed it and said "sorry, the rest should be fine now". As a celiac, I'm not sure I'd risk another attempt...
I ate at this restaurant a week ago and had a Cowboy burger with fries. They do offer gluten --free buns and do have a dedicated gf fryer. One of the owners served us and though she hasn't been diagnosed with celiac disease, she said she definitely gets sick if she consumes gluten. They also offer several gf pasta options and usually one dessert option. While this is not a dedicated gluten free restaurant, I enjoyed my meal, had no symptoms after eating and my wife enjoyed her meal as well.
I've been eating here for years and love it! I've never had a reaction and the staff has been so nice to me over the years as I still ask questions sometimes. The food here is delicious and I love that I can get appetizers and entrées and I'm not limited one or two items. I love the food and the the team that runs it is wonderful! I highly recommend them!
They were really mindful of keeping everything separate. My friend and I are both gf (and I'm celiac), but our partners are not. The food was clearly marked and separated. They were very thorough! The gf mac and cheese was OK, the sweet and sour was really good (fried Asian food is so rare for me!) and the Alfredo was ok. Partners enjoyed their Stroganoff and Seafood Alfredo. Soups were excellent!
Me and my family stoped here for lunch on our way out of town. Very flavorful and good sized portions. Wife had the GF sweet and sour chicken. Was the 1st breaded chicken she has had in years. Tasted very good. Will definitely come back next time passing through here.
Great gluten free options, I loved the fettuccine alfredo with chicken added, plus a chicken noodle soup starter.
Used to be my favorite place because of all the GF options, but the last few times I have gone the food has been very blah. Not sure if they got a new chef or something but it used to be so much better than it is now. The service has always been slow but when the food was good I was okay with that, now, not so much :(
after going here a couple times i have to rate it "meh". Why:
1. service is slow.
2. food is mediocre.
3. ordered gluten free general tso's chicken and it had a stray pasta noodle in it
Food was excellent and Mckenzie our server was awesome! Gluten free options were great and they took extra precautions to verify my sons food was 100% GF. I highly recommend this place .
I am surprised to see this place have a mediocre rating. They have numerous gluten free items (and vegetarian/vegan) at a very reasonable price. One person got General Tso's chicken, for example, which would not usually be offered gf. They have something at the front of the store about their involvement with other restaurants that provide gluten free items. They are less expensive and more child friendly than other restaurants recommended on here have been that I've tried. The service was a little slow, but not that bad, and worth it for delicious food that was safe to eat!
The pasta and salad I ordered was amazing!! :) and the lunch combo made it so cheep.
Excellent GF menu and all items that I have ordered, so far, have been vary tasty! The GF Pad Thai is my favorite!! Staff is great too!
