Review of Paesanos

Was there with a group of local Celiacs. We all ordered gluten-free food from the special gf menu, first the gf calamari (which was delicious) then gf pizza or pasta. I myself made sure to say explicitly that I wanted a gf pizza, just as the restaurant says to do on its menu but was served a gluten pizza. Fortunately my local buddy saw the pizza and immediately knew that it looked different than their gf pizzas usually do, or I would have gotten seriously I’ll. The waiter was suitably aghast, apologized, and got me a gf pizza as quickly as possible. That pizza was not as good as the calamari but okay except it was not worth the kind of reaction I suffered a few hours later, nausea, painful bloatedness, and finally throwing up, which usually happens to me when there’s a bit of cross contamination. I had eaten at Paesano’s once before without problems but after this experience I won’t risk it a third time.
