I’m gluten intolerant and didn’t react but server was not knowledgeable and didn’t acknowledge me when I told her I was gluten free. Fortunately there is a devoted menu but I have no idea if my server took this into account. Don’t even bother with the sea food. It wasn’t that great. I had the sea bass with spinach and tomatoes. It was a subpar meal, I should’ve picked something else for the price tag.
Watch the time you go, we waited over an hour for dinner in addition to a 15 minute wait time on a Saturday evening. Portions weren’t impressive, other tables had their meals served in multiple plates per person and I had a small bowl.
I wouldn’t come back. I’m a little bloated but didn’t have a severe reaction

I have Celiac and even though this place has a separate gf menu, i still got very sick off of a salad i got. When i told the waitress that I was extremely sensitive to gluten she just stared at me and looked confused. Do not eat here if you are super sensitive.

4/3/21 had an early dinner on the patio at Page’s. They offer a separate GF menu with 10-12 delicious entrees and many veggie sides. What the waitress didn’t know she was happy to find out about. I had fried shrimp (which I haven’t had in the past 6 years), Lima beans, homemade slaw and pimento cheese grits. It was all DELICIOUS!

There's a GF menu, and the server seemed knowledgeable about my needs. I had the broiled seafood platter with greens and cole slaw. Everything was very tasty. I wouldn't hesitate to return here.

Went for lunch and they had a seperate gf menu online. Had bbq pulled pork, cole slaw and pimento cheese grits. All were delicious! It was nice to eat bbq since that is usually tough find gf bbq as a celiac.

I ate breakfast at Page’s yesterday and they had a gluten free menu. I ended up ordering the shrimp and grits with regular grits. It was delicious!

We were given a gluten free menu, Jim our server knew what to type into the system to request for non-cross contamination and I don’t feel terrible! Very grateful to have such a delicious option near Charleston. Most GF items are grilled.

As of July 2021, the hostesses said they weren’t officially doing their GF menu, for the time being. They gave me one with things crossed out anyway for me to see and said my server should be able to answer any questions. Basically, if it was grilled, baked, boiled or smoked it was offered. The crossed out menu was helpful to pick which sides I wanted. I’m not a big meat-eater, but I did have the smoked pork. They were even cautious about which Bbq sauce they offered me too.

I am a Charleston resident and frequently eat at Page’s Okra Grill. It is my favorite spot in Charleston for Brunch! I was just diagnosed with Celiac in September, so on my first visit to Page’s after that, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they offer an extensive gluten free menu. Everything I have tried from it has been phenomenal! Highly recommended!!

Not worth the wait for someone with celiac. All they could make me was an omelette. Haven’t been back since.
Do not go!!! They told me something was gluten free and it wasn’t!!! THEY NEED TO TRAIN THE STAFF!!!
No
Have allergy to gluten, soy, and canola. They told us they couldn't serve us.
Uninspiring GF menu... But the food was solid. The waiter admitted to being uncertain about some food options and if they were GF, but went to check with the chef to confirm things when I asked. So they were accomidating and helpful. I left feeling full and didn't have any issues after eating here. The pimento cheese grits were awesome!
Was here in February. They do have a dedicated gluten free menu. Food was excellent and I had no issues!
The service here is fantastic! They don’t have a dedicated gf menu but I went here twice and both servers were fantastic, helping me pick out gf items, making substitutions and making sure my food was made safely!

The staff is VERY knowledgeable and accommodating. I was nervous because gluten free items weren’t on the menu, but I ordered a make your own omelet with Bacon and Cheese and Cheese Grits. My omelet was cooked in a pan by itself and the kitchen was alerted to my allergy (I was reassured of this multiple times! Both were tested in my Nima and both were GF!!! I also asked for a cup of grits to test before ordering and the waitress was super polite and brought me some and even came back to check the test results. I’m extremely sensitive and I had no trouble at all! Also very thankful for my Nima sensor to put my brain at ease and know if something is cross contaminated or not!! The food was GREAT and I will definitely return!!

They have a new gluten free menu. But very limited. Even the shrimp and grits is not GF. But the sweet potato casserole is very good. Waiter told me the restaurant takes food allergies very seriously, but he brought me my grilled shrimp snuggled around hush puppies. The food itself was good, but not amazing. My non celiac husband also thought the food was fine.
No specific gluten-free menu or items, but I called ahead and was told to ask the server when I get there. The waitress was super knowledgeable and helpful. She was able to list all the gluten-free items, and knew to tell me about a shared fryer for the home fries before I asked specifically. Not a whole lot of options but I liked what I got and I felt safe eating there. Did not get sick after. From what I remember on the breakfast menu that was gluten free and safe: grits (very good), eggs, omelets with certain fillings, bacon. Waitress also offered to grill a chicken breast if I needed.
