Was told my meal would be gluten free, but ended up getting sick the next morning. Do not recommend for celiacs.
— Not at all
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much
— Poor
The Red Wine Braised Short Ribs and Horseradish Mashed and Braised Greens were out of this world. Friendly knowledgeable staff and ambiance next to the fireplace with a gluten free brownie coated in Carmel sauce was sinful❤❤❤❤❤ thank you from this extremely sensitive celiac diner👍🏻👍🏻
Always busy if West Point is having a function. Pleasant staff and outstanding wide ranging menu and food. Never had a problem here although when crowded can get noisy but that its part of the fun.
I used to frequent this place a lot when I lived here. When I moved back I was excited to try it again! The menu clearly states which items are gluten free and vegetarian. I ordered a salad with chicken. Salad was amazing but either service didn't hear the I wanted chicken added or forgot. All was well, just asked for chicken and added it to my salad. Both my friends enjoyed their meals too. One friend ordered a mixed drink which was huge- like three drinks in one! The reason I gave four stars i because as my friend and I walked in an older couple really mean mugged us. I was surprised because this restaurant is in Cornwall. It is a "tavern" but there was so much anger in their faces. Strangely enough when we sat that couple was at the bar celebrating his birthday?! They and their party were loud and silly. So my recommendation IS to sit in the dinning room, not the bar area. The hosts offered it to us but we turned it down. I will still go and recommend this place. It's got a great atmosphere and the art work always changes. The food is always excellent! I've never had a bad food experience.
