We have breakfast (and sometimes lunch too) here multiple times, every time we go to New York. The food is excellent. The staff is wonderful (except on Mondays - don’t go here on Mondays) and everything on the GF menu is terrific.

The restaurant has a separate GF menu! Pretty much the “normal” options for non-GF guests.

Got Pancakes, Bacon and Egg for breakfast Got sick 30mins after eating there. Waiter got annoyed at my asking about the preparation area and cross contamination. Gave short clipped answers. Was very busy and looked to have a small kitchen. Would not eat there again.

I've gotten takeout safely from here many times in the past. Last night I was badly glutened and spent half the night throwing up. I am disappointed and no longer consider this restaurant reliable.

Prepare yourself before coming here. The woman cashier at the front of the restaurant is extremely rude and dismissive. She harassed me for taking pictures of the GF menu and then argued about it. I wish I could rate the food, but I didn’t even want to try anything after dealing with her.

I have food allergies. I had the french toast and turkey bacon with absolutely no reaction - I used syrup (Smucker's syrup with no gluten containing ingredients). My friend's daughter has celiac. She had pancakes with bacon - She skipped the syrup (Smuckers syrup - unsure of cross contamination from the Smuckers suppliers). Staff is very knowledgeable! Food was absolutely delicious!!! It's a diner with a wide range of food selection. Hoping to come back for the gluten-free chicken fingers. Five stars :)

I'm a picky eater recently diagnosed celiac. They had a whole separate gf menu with typical diner food and I was able to order chicken fingers and fries! I felt so normal and they were well informed.

Sadly, this place is unsanitary. I ordered the GF banana pancakes and they came raw. I informed the server and he wanted to know if I wanted them cooked more, like raw pancakes is a safe thing to eat. I said yes please. After 2 mins he comes back with the same plate and same pancakes steaming hot. He placed the pancakes into the microwave. I asked him why he microwaved the pancakes and he said seemed surprised and said he didn’t and walked away. I would avoid paying the $15 for microwaved gummy, flavorless pancakes here.

Went there with my celiac daughter because of the good reviews, she is so sick now ☹ never seen her like that. She loved the blueberry pancakes and I ordered the gf French toast too, they tasted delicious but we can’t come back anymore

Nice find. Typical NYC diner that had something for all of us…pasta, burgers, grilled cheese for picky kids and gluten free for the celiac parent. I had a turkey club. Real sliced turkey instead of deli meat which was nice, but a little dry since they did not add mayo. Figured that would be standard. I was hungry and ate most of it before I could ask. Plate came out labeled gluten free and the server made sure to mention it. They have a small, but full, bar with drink specials listed outside. Can’t speak to quality since I wasn’t drinking. Service was kinda slow, but they only had one waiter working.

I ordered gluten free pancakes with fresh strawberries to share and a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato on gluten free bread. The gluten free fries are amazing!! The texture of the pancakes are so fluffy, way fluffier than I’ve ever been able to get at home. A lot of gluten free options, even get your own menu here. The staff is knowledgeable about the ingredients as I’m also allergic to garlic, onion, and scallions and they made sure my food was safe. 10/10 recommend!

This is probably the biggest gluten free menu I'd ever seen at a diner. I've never gotten sick here and go all the time. Keep in mind, you can go a little 'off-menu'. For instance, I like to get a bacon, egg and cheese on an english muffin and it's amazing. Also great are their club sandwiches, love the fries!

Great little diner and safe for celiacs. The only thing missing from their (extensive) gluten free menu is salads. I don’t usually trust diners so this was a great find.
Yes
Great gf menu with large servings. Tastes fresh!
We love Palace! They have a gluten free menu and offer large serving sizes! I always have leftovers. We go here every time we’re in the city.

Separate gluten free menu. Staff was kind and helpful. Food was good. It was served hot and fresh. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and fries but they serve breakfast all day, which sounded good too.
Yes
Great diner for GF meals. Separate menu for GF options. And breakfast, and enjoyed the treat! The bread and fried potatoes were outstanding. Knowledgeable staff on GF items. Will return another time to try a lunch or dinner. For those with a sweet tooth, there are several GF desserts.
Amazing selection for breakfast! Pancakes, waffles, and French toast! Also, great coffee!
Typical NY Dîner with lots of Glutenfree options. Nothing fancy but who wants fancy at a diner?
Yes
I was excited to see the gf menu and went for breakfast twice during our trip to NYC. Unfortunately the second time I went I got sick. I had the waffles and sausages. Beware.
No
I was happy I found this place: extensive gluten free menu... you can get gf pancakes, waffles, French toast, bread, English muffins, etc. I opted for omelette with fresh fruit on side. I had gf English muffin- which turned out to be delightful corn muffin. Loads of yummy pastries and non- gf options if you’re not gf. Diner ambience. Clean. Bob’s redmill products displayed... Nice staff. I would recommend.

Our celiac diner was very happy with the choice and this is now on our go to list.

Gf chicken fingers!!!! Those don’t exist where I’m from so they were pretty dang amazing. Dedicated fryer and waiter seemed knowledgeable and was happy to answer questions.
Yes
I was excited by their gluten free menu advertised. Unfortunately even though I told them I also couldn't have dairy the waiter did not know their was dairy in the Glutino English muffin. Thankfully had only a couple bites before he finally showed me the packaging with the ingredient list. I felt bad after but it could have been much worse.
AMAZING FOOD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. great service. come here cause there is a lot of gluten free options

Breakfast lunch and dinner at anytime of day. Went in at 8pm was able to order GF waffle with fresh strawberries, egg whites and gluten free toast! Server was very attentive and food was ready in no time! would go back again!
They have a wide selection of gf items on their menu. For us, it is hard to judge a place because our son has asymptomatic celiac so we only go to places with high ratings and recommended by celiacs. Anyway, we all liked the food. Our server Daniel was the nicest guy on earth. I tried to explain our needs like always but he and everyone were super well informed! I also noticed a GIG certification on their gf menu that gave us peace of mind too!
the GF menu is like 6 pages long, the selection is impressive and the portions are HUGE.
They had a dedicated Gluten free menu that my kids (one is celiac) loved! We went for breakfast and they had a wide assortment of pancakes, waffles, French toast and eggs with toast. Everyone was happy and my daughter did not get sick after. We did not ask about dedicated equipment so I can't be sure about cross contamination.
The food was mediocre at best. My husband had the veal parm (not gluten free) and he said the veal was delicious. The pasta was not. I had a gf buffalo burger and it was just ok. I only ate half. Staff was friendly but we would not come back again.
More than half our party had celiac. One had chocolate chip pancakes. The others had pasta, chicken fingers, grilled cheese sandwich & fries. And a cookie for dessert! All of us were delighted with the large number of GF dishes. This is a keeper.
Yes
Very friendly staff and they have a full gluten free menu even for breakfast!
