Friendly, helpful staff. The pizzas are really good. The owner knows the importance in avoiding CC however they do not have a dedicated kitchen area and CC does occur.

Directly from the manager: gf pizzas are prepared alongside traditional pizza and cooked together, directly on the rack, in a shared oven. She said they are not celiac safe.

Staff was very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination - all GF is kept separate and staff changes gloves when preparing. I have celiac and I’ve eaten here several times without issue.

Best gf pizza I've ever had. it's $2.00 extra for gf but that's normal the small pizza was much larger than the little personal you get a Dominos and much better.

Yummy gluten free pizza crust. We got ours without any dairy and it was loaded with veggies. It was definitely a satisfying meal. The service was great. There was a mistake made with a request for dairy free on their gluten free bread, but they still put butter. They were quick to correct and make things right. Would definitely come again.

We came back here after two years to get gluten free pizza. It's so good that you all should try it! I'd recommend come here if having group such as football team, boy scout, girl scout or birthday party. They have wonderful selection to offer with gluten free. Oh, be sure to ask for gluten free menu.

we took our son there twice, each time having the same dish pasta and bread. we ordered gluten free and questioned it when it came. We were assured it was gf. both times he got sick. we tried the second time thinking maybe it was something else. Our mistake. good food and service, just not for gf sensitive.

I've visited the Irving branch Palio's Pizza Cafe going on a year to date. This cafe/restaurant is awesomely responsible when it comes to GF ordering and processing. The staff takes extreme caution from the order at the cashier to the prepping to the delivery to your table or boxing to go. I've not gotten sick any of the 13 times I've eaten and the pizza crust is hands-down one of the best tasting around. Also the ingredients are fresh and there is an option for GF dessert! What I enjoy most is the family friendly environment. When you walk in the door, you are not a visitor, but immediately engaged in familiar convo.

Truly tasty GF thin crust. Jason told us they use a separate baking sheet, change gloves, etc. After one stellar experience, I went back a week later. Unfortunately, Jason was not there, and I had some significant digestive issues afterward. Not for celiacs, but a great pizza place for those who can take a little risk.

The gluten free pizza crust was excellent! And the sauce went well with the crust. It's difficult to find good gluten free pizza, so it was refreshing to discover Palio's in Irving. The owner, Jason, is very nice. He greets and checks on everyone I make sure their experience has been great. We will definitely be coming back here. Another bonus: it's BYOB!
