My mom and I were very excited to try out Pancake Cottage. We were spending the day at Avalon and unfortunately wanting to try their gluten-free pancakes ate up a good chunk of our day. We got here at 9:45a and there was a 45 minute wait for a table, even though there were plenty of open seats around us. The space smelled of bad B.O., our server wasn’t the most pleasant, and it was over 100 degrees out which made our wait even more miserable. We weren’t served until after 11:30a. The pancakes were good but definitely not worth the wait. The hashbrowns were half cooked. There are other gluten-free breakfast options just across the street. We would not recommend dining here and we don’t plan on stopping by here again should we have another opportunity to visit Avalon.
No separate gluten free menu. No effort to prevent cross contamination. I ordered gluten-free pancakes with hashbrowns. Service was very very slow.

No gf pancakes or bread as listed and they seemed very confused as to what I was asking. Disappointing. There were some obvious options like eggs or steak or potatoes but I doubt the preparing surface were clean or non-contaminated.

Some of the staff was rude. Especially on Saturday. We ate here twice. The fist time they were very accommodating and the second time it was as if they didn’t care. I also found out they don’t have a separate space to cook the pancakes.

Gluten free pancakes! They were yummy! Among the other normal gluten free omelettes and such. Food was great! A Mexican flair!

The staff was kind but there were virtually no gf options. Had a side of avocado and half of grapefruit.
Came here this morning. They were honest that I had no celiac safe choices!
