Had Panda North on Christmas.

Staff was good at answering my questions about GF options. I asked them to list menu items that were gluten free and they just asked me what I wanted and said they could accommodate to make it GF.

Got the house special chicken (was a favorite before being diagnosed with celiac) and they said all they had to do was make it with GF soy sauce, as well as the fried rices, I got pork fried rice made with GF soy sauce! And did not get glutened!!

Have eaten here a number of times. Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. They have a gluten free soy sauce and will make gluten free dishes from scratch. Pretty much anything except the fried food can be made GF - and the food is really good!

Waitress. Very knowledgeable. And very nice. The sesame chicken is made in its own fryer. And sweet and yummy.

Oh, and the prices are almost pre-pandemic. Two sushi roles, sesame chicken, and for the gluten eaters lo mein and pad Thai. Total with tax was $54. Not bad for four.

Update. Had a second meal here. Amazing. Tangerine chicken and fried rice for me. Delicious. Waiter was friendly and joked around with the kids. Really love this place. And feel quite safe with their GF knowledge.

Very happy with Panda North. I called in advance about gluten free options and they were familiar and knowledgeable. Wait staff inside seemed similarly familiar. The menu didn’t call out gluten free items, though, and they brought out soy sauce for the table (not temari), so you do need to pay attention.

Hit or miss. Awesome tasting food. Fast service. Depends on your waiter it seems if they really do tell kitchen to “use special sauce”. Usually it’s ok...but the last time was soy sauce and became ill before we left. Worth a try as it’s delicious...just be annoying and verify the kitchen used a clean wok and the gf soy sauce!
