Not a good experience at this restaurant. We are visiting Matera and were enticed by all of their veggie/vegan/healthy options. I asked the waiter about GF soup options and he told me all of them were GF, despite two of them being clearly marked with whole wheat pasta. I was nervous but ordered a lentil option and again explained my celiac. Unfortunately the bowl came with a huge hunk of bread in it, so I did not feel comfortable eating there. They were apologetic but they clearly did not understand precautions.
