Given the menu, one would expect this restaurant to have many gluten-free options.
We contacted the restaurant beforehand to confirm that it was a safe spot and was told, “Hey! The majority of our menu is gluten free because we use corn tortillas (aside from cross contamination in the fryer - if you let us know when you’re coming in we can prepare some fried tortillas in advance prior to cross contamination!) the only gluten items are the chicharrones, fried onions, wing, fish tacos and torta. We usually have a few specials on that are likely GF as well.”
So we booked a res and indicated that we were gluten-free.
When we arrived our waitress didn’t really give the impression she knew what gluten was, but assured us she would check with the kitchen staff.
When she came back she told us nothing was gluten free aside from one of the salads. We showed her the message we had received from their social media account and were just told something to the effect of “sorry, there is nothing you can eat here”
