Our waitress was very knowledgeable about Celiac and gluten-free. She gave me a gluten-free menu and let us try some of the sauces to see what we liked (all the sauces are gluten-free and dairy-free). We had never had Hawaiian before, so sampling the sauces was very helpful. The Mauna Kea is very spicy, I am more of a zero/one star on the spicy scale. I ordered the Kealoha plate (pineapple chicken and teriyaki steak flavors) with a side of Aloha Fries. It was very good! The chicken was soooo tender, everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were all delicious. I really loved the GF Aloha fries! It’s so hard to find places that serve true GF fries in a separate, dedicated gluten-free fryer. I am Celiac and very sensitive to gluten and did not get sick here.

Great Hawaiian food! They have a dedicated fryer for gluten free items. I got the Papa Lau Lau salmon (salmon topped with Hawaiian pulled pork) with a side of the aloha fries and slaw.

After Peg Leg Pete’s said there was a 90 minute wait, we found Aloha Grill on this app and called, thinking it was too late. We arrived before closing and enjoyed the grilled appetizer, Mahi tacos, and the other mahi dish with the coconut rice.

The waiter had celiac too and said they only use GF soy sauce and GF teriyaki sauce.

Next time we visit, I plan on ordering the ribs. The waiter said he dreams of them, they’re that good, apparently!

We love Aloha grill! It’s one of our favorite GF places to eat out seafood and more .. I have Celiac disease and am very sensitive so this is our go safe restaurant.. the staff are very well trained and use separate fryer & safety protocols .. they also have Gf menu with many options

Just went here. If you’re celiac you might want to be careful. I told them I was celiac and they said the owner’s son was, and that they’d make sure my food was gf. I tested it with my Nima sensor and it found gluten. They claimed they took all proper precautions when making the food. They remade it and the second one tested gf. I guess my body will be the final word on whether or not it was safe. Update : I passed out asleep when I got back to the hotel and my head and muscles ache, I vomited and am having the other symptoms associated with me getting glutened. Thanks to this place for ruining my anniversary/birthday vacation.

The owners children have celiac and they take it very seriously. My son was able to get fried mahi mahi tacos and French fries also coconut pie for dessert. I would highly recommend. It was very good and something new to us.

Excellent GF menu selection! I had the spicy Ahi Tuna appetizer and the dinner plate Grouper with mango salsa, white rice and sweet potato fries. The sweet slaw and mango slasa with the blacked fish was a perfect flavor combo! Portion size was generous as well.

Amazing food and understand gluten free! They have a extensive menu for gluten free. It’s not a lot of substitutes but naturally gluten free.

Really good food. The owners have someone with Celiac Disease in their family. Rumor is there is a dedicated fryer just for Celiacs but I didn’t ask. Really cute restaurant and I did not get sick.

Pretty good variety on the GF menu. It isn't on there, but the DO HAVE A DEDICATED FRYER. You can get regular fries, sweet potatoes fries, or both. Had mahi mahi tacos and they were fantastic!

The owners child has celiac so they are VERY conscientious of celiac. They have a dedicated fryer! Almost their entire menu is celiac safe or can be altered to make it celiac friendly. I HIGHLY recommend. They have a full gluten free menu with several options.

Very good food. They do not have a designated gluten free menu, but owners are very knowledgeable about gluten allergies. Owner's son is celiac, so they clean surfaces for gf. They do not have a separate fryer, but plenty of other options.
