Everything was amazing. There are designated fryers and the staff is very knowledgeable on cross contamination. I enjoyed everything and even got a dessert!
Food was good. Staff was knowledgeable about GF and they had a lot of options.
Many choices, beware of spicyness. Nice enchilladas, no complaints afterwards.
It is awesome that they have a dedicated gluten free menu but we ordered a burrito that we asked to be on corn (the waitress said it wouldn’t be a problem and I have a kiddo that insisted on a burrito). The trouble is they brought it out and said the plate was gluten free but it wasn’t. It was a burrito clearly on a flour tortilla that would have made my son so sick. The waitress acknowledged it and was so apologetic even though she had noted several times to the kitchen that we have a severe gluten allergy at the table. With that, I think the ingredients and waiters are knowledgeable but I’m a bit unsure about the kitchen if they have to modify anything. I would just be careful to only order from the gluten free menu and not try to modify anything like we did for our son.
More than one server bringing out food, drinks, chips, etc. Saw that I had a GF menu and reviewed what was and wasn’t safe as they delivered it. Our server also marked all of the orders that could be safe “gluten allergy” so we could try each other’s food. Really solid experience. The food was good. I had Birria tacos which were a little greasy, but tasty. Passable and enjoyable for someone like me that grew up near the border in California. :) Always great to have safe chips and salsa available!
The food was good and our waiter very nice. However, neither the hostess, waiter, or food runners were knowledgeable. Big gluten-free menu, but when I asked if the chips were safe etc, the answer I got was “It should be”. Now they went and checked and they were. Then the food runner brought out tortillas for the fajitas and gave the flour ones to my child with celiac. I had to ask if they were corn (the corn and flour looked very similar) and they were not. Nothing was brought out flagged as GF, and the lack of knowledge was just not reassuring. My son enjoyed his food and he didn’t get sick but more staff knowledge and some communication/flagging is lacking.
The server was very knowledgeable on preparation and gluten free items! No reaction at all, everything was delicious!
We came back again this year! (8/2023) we had another wonderful and safe meal.
We had an absolutely amazing dinner last night. Our server Ambar was so caring and careful. Dinner was not only delicious for our child with celiac disease but also delicious for the whole party. we look forward to our next visit.
I am so torn. I really wanted to go to this place as it had great reviews. They have an extensive GF menu. My daughter and I both ordered from the GF menu. I ordered GF and dairy free. We both got sick.
The food tasted great and the service was great. I just don’t know how it happened. We ate for dinner last night and I am still sick.
Just ate lunch at Papi’s. Had an extensive gluten free menu and had vegan cheese for dairy free people. Lunch was very good. Tortilla chips were gluten free too. I will be back. 😊
We spoke with the manager. Dedicated fryer for the chips and hard shell tacos. Separate gluten free menu.
