Papis tacos

All there tacos are gluten free except the carne asada. The worker I interacted with was aware of gluten allergy’s and knew what celiac disease was so she just explained to me what was gluten free. I am very sensitive and I did not experience and issues. I do believe there is cross contamination though. I would tell the workers about the gluten allergy. But overall some of the best tacos I’ve ever had!

I opened with the classic “hi I have celiac and I’m very sensitive to gluten…” and before I finished the lady told me that it wasn’t safe for celiacs. They use the same cutting board, knife, etc for everything. If you are very sensitive like me, stay away. Even though they have corn tortillas, cross contamination WILL happen.

We got the shrimp tacos and they were very good. Best Mexican food I’ve had on Oahu so far.

All the tacos were g-f except the carne asana (beer-marinated) and they were delicious. This was way better than eating at turtle bay resort and their restaurants.

Everything is gluten free except for the carne/beef tacos! I had the pollo tacos and Al pastor tacos with rice and beans. They were tasty and I did not have a reaction.
