Had the Greek Yogurt Bowl and it was beautiful and delicious! FYI about cross contamination they use the same waffle maker for regular waffles and gf waffles.
We enjoyed our late breakfast here with our gluten-eating friend! It was very good but overpriced, even by CA standards. We are gluten (and dairy) intolerant and not celiac so we were not concerned about their safety practices and didn't pay attention to preparation. We'd eat here again if it wasn't so pricey.
Not sure why people rate this place high. It’s terrible and there is cross contact everywhere.
“GF” bread toasted in shared toasters, “GF” waffle made on shared irons, GF pastries in open shared case with Gluten.
Took a safe bet on an açaí bowl açaí bowl that was literally soup. My husband ordered the salmon and it took FOREVER to come out and his toast was missed. They said they’d be right back with silverware and left us waiting with no way to eat the food that was already way too late. Had to flag down a second person to get utensils.
Never again.
Fantastic experience.
Seemed knowledgeable about GF.
I had the Warm Quinoa Salad with Tofu & did have any symptoms.
The salad was so good that I told my husband I wanted to go back & get it again tomorrow!
Service was great, polite, & good came quickly.
Perfect place for a quick lunch 😋
I ate here many times and never had an issue. The cafe and the adjacent juicers have lots of GF smoothie and bowl options, and the cafe has a bunch of GF entrees. Not everything labeled as GF is actually gluten free for celiac (no dedicated fryer) but a number of the options are. I had the parakeet bowl with grilled chicken, the avocado toast, and both the dragon bowl and Brazilian bowl at the juicery. They also have a bunch of gf pastries. They were responsive to celiac questions and when I accidentally ordered the tofu as an add on, the server came over to tell me it wasn’t gluten free and subbed the chicken.
