The waiter was very nice, however he clearly knew nothing about food allergies. When I asked for Gluten free bread, he said yes, I’ll give you the rye bread. Surprised, I said “you have gluten free rye bread?” He assured me that yes it was gluten free. I asked that he make a note of my gluten and dairy allergies. Wanting to make sure, I asked him again about the bread, so he checked with the manager who said no, it’s dairy free, not gluten free. When he brought my food I realize the sauce had dairy in it. Maybe he was just new, but I have no confidence in the safety of this establishment.
Have a marked/seperate menu with the most common allergens (gluten, milk, eggs etc.)
Great service and food, feels like a Paris cafe. While not marking GF items is always a little annoying, Parc makes up for it with great service. When we were seated they mentioned my allergy (which I put on the reservation) and asked if we would still like bread. (My husband did.) I had beet and carrot salad and lobster risotto, which was to die for. Creme brûlée for dessert. Service was outstanding including bringing us another drink at no charge when I spilled my husband’s. Lots of kid friendly options and would be a good place to bring family.
It was delicious. They were very careful in discussing cross contamination. They have gluten free French fries which were very good. I also had the omelet.
I love Parc. It’s elegant with amazing service. They don’t rush you.
Although they don’t make items on the menu the staff and kitchen are very knowledgeable about GF and eager to accommodate.
We went for Sunday brunch. I had the king crab deviled eggs-amazing- and the shrimp cocktail. I had a hard time deciding on what from the “fruits de mer” section to order because they would all be safe.
I don’t think I would be comfortable ordering some items off the menu because of how they’re likely prepared in the kitchen and cross contact, but there are definitely options.
I did not get sick.
Had the most delicious dinner at Parc! The server said almost everything on the menu can be gluten free, including a separate fryer for the French fries! I had the seafood platter & moules frites, both were to die for. More than half of the desserts were GF or could be made GF, which Ive never experienced before at a restaurant! I told the server I had celiac & she made sure to put my food in as an allergy and the kitchen staff were very aware. I will definitely be returning!
Parc is one of my favorite restaurants. They were very considerate of my allergy. I had the warm shrimp salad (best item on the menu) and creme brulee for dessert. Everything was delicious! They also have tons of shellfish, fish, and steak options. You are sure to find something here!
