We enjoyed amazing hospitality for dinner last night. It was a quiet night for the restaurant, so we were able to chat with the host and chef and get tips on the menu. We were traveling to celebrate our anniversary and when our host heard this she brought us a welcome drink. We were treated to personalized gluten free off menu crisps rather than bread to accompany the salad we ordered. The dressing was inspired - truly the best vinaigrette I’ve had. My husband got the Boeuf Bourguignon and raved. He felt it was just extraordinary, which he does not throw around lightly. I ordered the Florence Crepe which was delicious- and way more than I could eat. We did order fries since they have a gluten free fryer and I so rarely get to enjoy fries. They were hot and perfect! We did order the crème brûlée when we heard they use honey from their own hives to make it we made room for a bite. Let me tell you… it was phenomenal! Being gluten free, this is frequently the only dessert option, so we’ve shared crème brûlée around the world. This was by far the best we’ve ever had (including in Paris this summer). From the welcoming hospitality and ambiance to the delicious and inspired meal this spot won our hearts! Thank you Starr and Jen - wow! A note on gluten free- the host is also gluten free so very knowledgeable and careful. All the sweet crepes can be made with the buckwheat crepe base, so the entire crepe menu is available. The fryer is gluten free. Ask for buckwheat crisps with your soup or salad! Soooo good.

Great place to eat at and they explained that the savoury crepes are gluten free, since the crepes are made with buckwheat. I had the goat cheese, pear and walnuts crepe and it was amazing!

Excellent gf crepes! Love the savoury options. Great decorating, feels like a french cafe. So unique. The only problem was staffing, tables were full of dishes with a line at the door and the people would just leave. The staff was overworked and overwhelmed and only one lady was friendly. They really need someone to seat people and clear off the tables.

Not sure how, but I ended up getting glutened here through cross contamination. Maybe it was the cookware used for the ratatouille dish rather than the crepe dish? Unsure, but gluten allergy / cross contamination seriousness was well communicated and appeared understood, but something clearly went wrong. It was delicious though before the symptoms started kicking in mid-meal.

Located on Queen Street, in the historic downtown, about a mile from the Niagara Falls View area, this place is a gem! It is a “trip to France” while at the Falls. They offer galettes (GF buckwheat crepes) which can be used for both their sweet and savory crepes and a designated fryer for their hand-cut fries. Friendly and accommodating service. Our sever took the time to tell about the GF offerings. Lots of homemade touches by their expert pastry chef - including homemade caramel sauce, Chantilly cream, crème brûlée and chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious!
