Please don’t read the past reviews. I went on 2/1/2022 and the gluten free options are mostly eliminated now. Nona’s took away all the GF pasta. The pizza place still has gf crust, buts it’s not celiac safe. None of the other places had GF options that I trusted. I ate a Caesar salad with chicken from Nona’s. That’s the best I could do.
I tried Bad Nonnas gluten free vegan pasta and they were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions and making recommendations for gf and vegan menu items. When I asked about cross-contamination, they shared that they use separate cookware and gloves to prepare the gf pasta. I went with the build your own pasta bowl option with the gf pasta, vegan pesto, mushrooms, zucchini, spinach and vegan sausage. It was delicious and I didn’t have any symptoms!
I ate at providence pizza and it was very tasty! Had the little rhody and I didn’t get sick.
I've eaten at both Providence Pizza and El Guate.El Guate said they they didn't have anything containing gluten on their menu which was excellent and relaxing. I would definitely eat there again. The pizza place warned me that everything is shared but that they would take any precautions that I requested. Since I was there when they opened they let me know they hadn't used any flour yet and volunteered to cook my pizza on separate pans.Burger pig has a dedicated french fry fryer and was aware that there's gluten in soy sauce. However, they do not have a gluten free bun (at this time)
