Parrain's Seafood Restaurant

Server did not have any knowledge of what types of foods contained gluten. We requested the manager who was helpful, but only 2-3 menu items could be ordered. Very low confidence on knowledge in the kitchen. I would not return.

Our waiter was very well-informed about gluten free options and checked with the kitchen to ensure safety of my order. I ate safely and enjoyed my meal!

Absolutely amazing! Asked about gluten free and the chef came out! Then they came out to apologize that someone placed bread on my plate and they were remaking my food!!

They are not gluten free friendly. Don’t waste your time. Very little you can eat. If you are not gluten free, then try it.

There wasn’t any. Had to mix things up. Even the salad dressing and bbq sauce wasn’t gluten free.

The managers are helpful, but the wait staff know little about their options. There are not many options either.

Glutened once there, and I think CC once. The manager was nice, but it definitely isn’t safe. Basic things were worrisome, such as delivering all the food together with the wait staff touching each plate and then touching the GF plate, etc. Two stars for deliciousness.

Good gluten free options. No GF menu but the staff was knowledgeable and concerned. Bacon Shrimp GF w/o barbecue sauce. The drum fish was amazing

Only a few GF options. No labels on the menu. Our waiter had to grab a manager to tell me what was GF. Pretty much every sauce has gluten. So you are pretty much left with a salad or something grilled. Popular restaurant, waited 45 minutes. Service was slow once we sat down. I had the Pantchartrain, asked for the fish to be grilled. It was good.

They have an allergen list, staff is less than knowledgeable but kitchen seemed to be helpful. Wasn’t super confident, but I have eaten here twice without incident.

Had a great meal! They have a list for gluten and peanut allergies. I had fish Pontchartrain--grilled with caper hollandaise sauce. Garlic mashed potatoes on the side. My salad came with NO croutons and the house dressing. My husband was thrilled with his Cajun choices.
