Not AIC certified. Had lunch there and was a little scared for safety. Had pasta and did not have any symptoms afterwards.

Amazing pasta. Arguably the best gluten-free pasta that I had throughout my Italy trip. I even got another serving of the same pasta. I definitely recommend coming here.

Sat down at the restaurant and immediately asked what was safe for Coeliac. The wait staff informed me that the ‘A’ on the menu meant contains gluten - so anything that doesn’t have an ‘A’ before the price is safe. I had the grilled lamp chops - wasn’t anything special, no seasoning and came with a little bit of salad on the side which wasn’t very appealing. My partner is not gluten free & loved his lasagna. Definitely better places to eat in Rome.

I nearly didn’t go to this restaurant because of the reviews previously, but as it was so close to our hotel we went and I’m glad we did. There are a few meals that don’t need any changing for them to be gluten and dairy free, they even had fresh fruit on the desert menu! The first time I had chicken with tomato and sweet pepper, with sides of vegetables (aubergine, courgette and peppers) and roast potatoes. The second time I had rabbit with olives and vegetables and fruit salad after. Both really nice meals.

Honestly, the only reason I would choose to eat here is for the location if you really need somewhere close to the Colosseum. There are so many other better gluten-free restaurants to choose from in Rome. They don’t have gluten-free bread, which is a shame. The pasta was just average, and they can’t do some of the sauces gluten free. The chicken was pretty good though. The things we disliked the most were that the service wasn’t very good, and one of the waiters joked about us saying “gluten free” a lot by asking if we wanted the check to be “gluten free” too. Like, um this is my health we are talking about. So yes, I am going to ask a lot of questions and clarifications for gluten-free things. Ugh.

They will make any pasta dish with gluten free (premade) pasta- but the pasta was good and the sauces amazing. The mussel appetizer has pieces of tomato that I used as “bread” and it was delicious!!

Met my husband here for a late lunch after visiting the colosseum. Very convenient location. Service was good and servers very knowledgeable. I am gluten and dairy free which can pose extra challenges. I had pasta Matriciana gf and without cheese snd a salad. Both were very good.

Very fresh! It’s the first meal I’ve had in Rome where I felt like all the ingredients were fresh not frozen. There is no separate gluten free menu but they have allergens listed and have GF pasta and risotto.
I had the tuna salad (fresh veggies!) and seafood risotto. Again, incredibly fresh seafood.
They seemed to understand allergies quite well because when my non-GF partner ordered bruschetta the server was alarmed on my behalf.

Hands down our best meal in Rome! I really can’t recommend this place enough. The seafood was fresh and beautifully prepared, the GF pasta could not be distinguished from regular pasta, and the sauces were amazing. Our server was patient, kind, careful and there were very few menu items that could not be made GF. It’s not the cheapest place, for sure, but when the bill came it felt worth every euro. Don’t wait a minute longer — eat here!!

Knowledgeable, helpful, patient. My wife had gf df seafood risotto and I had gf clams with gf pasta. The menu was fully labelled for most allergies, the waiter double checked everything. The food was great after an exhausting morning at the Colloseum.

Decided to try this restaurant after a long day at the Colosseum. We were told all pasta dishes could be made gluten free, so we had cacio e pepe and carbonara. Both were absolutely delicious! Just perfect. The only let down was that the dessert option was only panna cotta which although lovely was a bit boring.

Very friendly and patient staff. Allergy guidance on the menu, but they have many more gluten free options after asking for details.

Gluten free pasta available and very flavorful! Allergies are listed at the bottom of the menu, and staff were very conscious of dietary restrictions. The wine was good too! It was a great stop for lunch (still open later in the afternoon which is sometimes hard to find) during our day at the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

Pasta was rated as good by our coeliac. Menu clearly shows allergies and when you mention gluten free they quickly point out the pasta option.
Yes
Good food with good service. Pretty much everything on the menu can be made gluten free. We are not sure how careful they are with cross-contamination though, and its not specified anywhere in the menu what is gluten free (you have to ask). The wine of the house is cheap and really good :) we weren’t sick and the food was good, just less clear if it is celiac safe
Staff were lovely and they have good knowledge of gluten free food. Unfortunately they didn’t offer pizza, but delicious pasta on offer.
Very nice food. The waiters were very knowledgeable about gluten free and dairy free and very obliging and attentive.
Yes
Pasta only, it was tasty but wouldn’t be a top choice.
Gluten Free pasta. Friendly staff
Yes
Great place near the coliseum. They offered pasta and meat dishes. One type of pasta, penne. My son had penne and a nice meat sauce. He enjoyed it thoroughly. I had penne and red sauce. Simple and good. No pizza offered to us.
Perhaps the management has changed or something, but they told us today that they didn't have any gluten free items on the menu - just a few meat items that didn't have flour.
I ate here in early June and had to get take out due to having a small child in tow, but the outdoor seating seemed nice. The bolognese sauce was great, I licked the take out container clean. I didn't get sick (and I always get sick)!
Yes
They do not have gluten free pizza here. They have gluten free penne pasta and you can have most of the sauces. It was OK but after reading some of the other reviews I thought there would be more choices.
Pizza was great. I have a long list of food allergies written down. The waiter was super helpful and picked eomething yummy for me. Very good first meal in Rome!!
Very good pasta.
I had penne pasta with Alfredo sauce. Very good! No gluten free bread though :(
