Large GF menu with rice penne as a sub for regular pasta. The server assured me they even use separate utensils. Giving it three stars because I ordered the signature dish, pasta pomodoro, and to me it tasted like Campbell's cream of tomato soup on pasta. The minestrone was good, not great. Also, even after having the GF discussions he went into the regular "Did we want to split the bruschetta as an appetizer" spiel. Uh, no. I will return and try something else next time. My girlfriend likes the salmon salad but 'sustainably raised' sounded like farmed salmon to me and I choose not to eat Frankenfish. Note: This is a chain so there are other locations and the web site does not reflect the new GF options.

Service is good. Unfortunately, it is VERY dirty. The ceiling is incredibly disgusting. Afraid that the gunk will fall in my food. So gross! Very unfortunate. Plus my pasta pomodoro needs a lot of work. Chicken not cooked all the way. So sad. This restaurant has potential.

The San Ramon location of Pasta Pomodoro is wonderful when taking care of your gluten-free menu requests. They use locally sourced, fresh GF pasta and boil it in separate water to avoid cross contamination. I am celiac, eat here often and never have to worry.

They have a dedicated gluten-free menu and the servers seen fairly knowledgable. They also offer gluten-free pasta but it has corn in it which I'm also allergic to. I've eaten their GF chicken and vegetables here many times and been fine but last time I was glutenized and am still paying for it. It was especially frustrating because the waitress seemed to really get how allergic I am to gluten, but that must have gotten lost in the kitchen. Overall really disappointing but might be ok for people with gluten sensitivities.
