Review of Patio Bellavista

Patio Bellavista is the name of the square (think outdoor mall) with about 20 individual restaurants (see http://patiobellavista.cl/ )

I have reviewed the 2 restaurants below, with my overall star rating matching the best restaurant.

2/5: 100 Montaditos This was the first restaurant we tried, as it had notes about gluten free food oj the website. Despite that, the hostess had no idea what we were talking about so we left. I reserve 1 star for a place I get sick, but I can't recommend this place.

4/5 Barrica 97

This was listed as one of the best places to get wine, so at least we'd get that! Ended up being incredibly lucky as there was one guy who spoke English very well (he had apparently spent over a decade in the USA) and he was fantastic! He walked us through what was in every dish, was able to recommend dishes and more importantly catch mistakes from the other waiters. Food was simple, but I felt no concern about cross contamination! I'd give him personally 5* but were he not there....it would have been tricky!
