Review of Patio Burger & Ice Cream Co.

Great little joint right across from the beach. The girl taking our order was clearly miserable and didn’t know much about the GF situation other than they have a GF bun. I ordered the cheese burger + fries (dedicated fryer) and told her I am celiac - I think asked if their Ice cream was GF… she said “I don’t know” - luckily for me a nice, very informed staff member walked by at that moment and told me all house made ice cream (easily identified on menu) is GF - and she told the girl serving me to make sure she puts “celiac” on the till when someone says they have Gluten allergy or are celiac… because they take special precautions for celiac meals. I then asked her to make sure she did that for my burger because she hadn’t. Id go back! Food was good, didn’t get sick… but just make sure you ask the staff helping you to choose “celiac” on the till.
