Was very excited to eat here as I had heard the menu was marked GF and had many choices. However, for those with Celiac and those who are affected by cross contamination, this restaurant proved to not be a safe option. :-( All their bread is either toasted in a shared toaster or on the shared griddle. The staff were very friendly and open to answering questions but their knowledge of gluten was very limited. The only option on the menu that I felt safe to eat was the potatoe salad, which was okay, nothing spectacular. My husband did enjoy a burger and fries (shared frier), atmosphere is very unique, and friendly staff. If I didn't have to worry about gluten, I would eat here again. But unfortunately it does not seem to be a safe place for Celiacs.
No
There were several gluten-free options on the menu, including gluten-free bread available for any of the many yummy sandwiches. All the items were clearly marked. In addition, the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions. Also, the gluten-free torte was amazing!
