Review of Paul & Elizabeth's

This restaurant is NOT gluten-free friendly. There is no gf menu. Some items on the regular menu, like omelettes and salads, are gf. but when I ordered an omelette whose side was a wheat roll, they did not have a gf bread to substitute. Many places now store gf breads in the freezer, and even if they charge extra for them, I appreciate the effort on behalf of gf diners. Since this establishment didn't offer gf bread to sub, I asked what sub they could offer. The answer was: "only rice." With an omelette? This is poor treatment of gf diners. When I asked for a few leaves of greens or slices of apple instead, the server said that would be "3 or 4 dollars." This is NOT a gluten friendly establishment. For a locavore restaurant in Northampton, it's really quite shocking how retrograde it is on the gf front.
