I just had to plug the sharp cheddar spread. A family tradition on the way to Monterey is to stop for cheese and croutons to eat in the car. Now, I use tortilla chips or GF pretzels instead but the cheese is as good as ever! It does have a may contain label, but I’ve never had an issue. I’ve never eaten in the restaurant, but the canned soup seems not to have any gluten-containing ingredients. I asked the cashier if the soup they make is GF and she didn’t know, but she said it is vegan.

I love pea soup Andersens and I’m sad this has so few stars! Of course, I’m happy with just the soup usually so if you want a lot of choices, this may not be the place for you (outside of breakfast.) I’m celiac and have never gotten sick here - and it’s a fun kitschy stop on the 5. I have asked the waitstaff about other things (if I’m remembering correctly, they said the potato skins were gf, but that was pre Covid that I asked) and they’ve always been helpful.

We called before stopping to eat there and they said they had a gluten free menu... it was hardly one. It consisted of soup and some sides. Beware with the soup, when we were there the soup was served right under where bread baskets are stacked... so if you are celiac this is huge for cross contamination.
No
They don't have a gluten free menu at Santa Bella. The waiter did know about celiac and yes, soup is gluten free
No
Came here with my family. I'm currently on a detox that does not allow gluten. I asked if they had a gluten-free items, the waitress provided me with a gluten-free menu(see picture). Fortunately, the soup is gluten-free. Also had a salad with their gluten-free caper vinaigrette
This place sucks they don't know anything. You should wait the car ride out then come to this place
No
Uh, there's practically nothing GF here. Split pea soup & 'garden' salad with no dressing. Don't come here hungry!
soup, salad, and a milk shake: what more could person want? the kitchen is willing to be as careful as they can.
Yes
