I feel really bad giving this place a poor review because the front of house staff are super nice. Unfortunately though, I learned that several of the items marked gf on the menu explicitly contain wheat, and other items have ingredients which they couldn't confirm were gf (spice blends, oat milk, etc.). I know not everyone asks questions to the same degree I do, so I just feel like it's important to let y'all know. Also incredibly expensive (I know it's Manhattan, but still). I'm sure this place is great if you're vegan with no other dietary restrictions though!

GF items clearly marked on the menu, and staff seemed to be knowledgeable about cross contamination. I was going to order the chickpea fries and the waiter said there was a possibility of cross contamination in the fryer, but they could bake them. The red bean chili and cornbread is amazing, several gf apps, main dishes and they even have some gf desserts!

A vegan restaurant with Gluten-free items clearly marked on the menu. Food is delicious and creative.
I recommend the "Un-chicken" Salad (3 scoops served on lettuce), the Mango Lassi smoothie drink, gluten-free raw Keylime Pie dessert.
This place can get very busy!
Not great service but the vegan cheesecake was great.
